Food was alright, not bad, not particularly good. Our server was attentive. Unfortunately the modelo didn’t come out very full and tasted off, like perhaps the keg was almost out, sorta skinny and not well carbonated. I asked to send the beer back and have it taken off, I would pay for and drink a margarita instead. Someone came to the table a while later explaining they cannot take drinks off the ticket, it’s against the policy. They offered to report the beer but I declined as I didn’t se me how that would solve the problem. The server already confirmed it was in fact, a modelo and not mistaken for some other beer that’s naturally more skunky.

The people's at the Mexicali Border Cafe know how to make very good Mexican food especially ice cream as well. In the heart of downtown Tulsa. I got confused with the service because there was a birthday party going on, thinking I was on the list, but I told I'm just only one person, just want to try their food and have a good time, so they got me a chair and everything else and they were good to me. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat lunch or dinner after exploring the city of tulsa itself.

The food and service was great! Ordered the mix fajitas, blackened shrimp, chicken and steak. My only complaint was the restrooms were dirty.

The Posole soup was just as good as my mother’s. This is the 5th time we have eaten here.We recommend it to all our friends who visit Tulsa. When we visit from Stillwater this is our place to go in downtown Tulsa.

Mexicali has always been a favorite to us … then we moved 6 years ago 😡😡 First time here since our move Food is just as awesome as it was when we left We both had a lunch special which was huge and only $11 Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant to anybody AAAAA+++++
