This place hasn't disappointed me yet. I am native Dallas. If this was in Dallas, I would go out of my way for it. The tacos are great. The pastor tacos are some of the best. T he margaritas are made with in house ingredients instead of mass produced sweet and sour mix. Looking for great Mexican food, look no further. The staff is friendly and accessible if needed. You will love the chips and salsa.

I had the Bria tacos. They were absolutely amazing. I travel all over the country and these were just as good if not better than any others I’ve had on the WEST COAST. Tania author, our server and she was amazing, extremely friendly and patient as it took us a little bit to decide what we wanted because everything looks so good watching what other people were eating. It was clear that everything that came out of the kitchen was going to be delicious.

First time at 918 Maples Tacos & Cantina and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. Atmosphere – 9/10 It has that dope, authentic Mexican restaurant vibe in a great location. Perfect spot for a date night or casual dinner. You can see them cooking the food, the bar area is nice, and the lighting sets the mood. It’s a little on the smaller side, but the energy, food, and staff more than make up for it. (I know they have multiple locations too, so I’m curious to check the others out.) Service – 10/10 Every waitress we interacted with was amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and great with communication. They really took care of me. I’ll definitely be back with friends! they deserve a huge tip for how well they treat their guests. Appetizer – 9/10 The chips and queso came out fresh in a skillet topped with cilantro and jalapeños. Easily top 3 queso I’ve ever had. Flavor was on point. Drinks – 10/10 I had the frozen Sunkist mango you just have to try it. It was that good. Main Dish – 10/10 The birria pizza was CRAZY. The cheese pull was perfect, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the broth tied everything together. The portion size is huge and easily enough for 3 people. I could only get through two slices and I was full. Overall experience: 9.5/10 From the hospitality to the service to the flavor, they really made a great first impression. I’ll be back and I’ll definitely be recommending this spot. If this is your first time, you won’t be let down.

Food looked good but it was cold and bland and chips were cold and one had a texture like plastic horchata was watery. Liked the Smokey salsa. The environment is nice like the decor and music. Waiter could’ve been better being a little more attentive and being a better communicator but other than was polite and chill.Other people seem to think this place is alright but to me seems like bland bland and a lil cheap. It was kinda of cold in there even for a restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend as there is better options out there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Why did it take us so long to try 918 Maples?! We absolutely loved it. The salsa had the perfect kick — nice and spicy — and the chips were fresh and crispy (always a must!). I ordered the birria tacos and they were so flavorful and delicious. I especially loved the extra sauces — that orange one? So good! The beans were beans, the rice was rice, and the tacos were definitely the star. I also tried the blackberry sage margarita… woohoo! 🙌 It was fantastic. My hubby had the empanadas and he absolutely loved them. Our server was so friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. If you haven’t been yet, you should go now! 🌮🍹
