The best Mexican food in Raleigh! Unique from other places around, it has a much fancier vibe and more upscale food but still at very reasonable prices. The food leans into some traditional Aztec fare and offers some unique items. The service is outstanding, especially our waitress Ginny. They also have delicious drinks and solid bartenders with great drink specials. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Came in at 11:30 AM for lunch. We were the only customers there and when the guacamole came out, it was brown… Even chipotle makes their guacamole fresh daily. When we asked for the check, we were told to wait while the server stared blankly at liquor bottle is trying to figure out how to make a mixed drink. Some other customers ordered. It took as long to get the check as it did for us to sit down and actually eat our food. When the check came, I was discharged for chicken when I got vegetarian. The server stated that it was all the same price even though it said chicken I had two point out to him on the lunch menu that it was a three dollar difference and vegetarian was a different price. If you were looking for authentic local Mexican in Raleigh, you would be better off with the mini other local options downtown than here. The spot has potential, but the food was bland(would guess the veggies are from a can). I can't get over being served day old guacamole.

I heard this place had opened, so we stopped by this past weekend to try it out. Very cute spot -- in the location that was formerly Oak City Meatball Shoppe. Very reasonable cocktail prices, we sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and attentive. The Michelada was refreshing and the Santo Pecador was bright and spicy. We were blown away by the Trenza de Arrachera Mazahua, the meat was so tender and seasoned. It also had this salsa/sofrito(?) on top that was amazing. The fish tacos were fine - they give you lots of fish, and it was well seasoned, but they needed a bit more cabbage as they were lacking a bit of texture. The side of soup was gigantic and so flavorful, ended up enjoying that more than the tacos. We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious! Authentic, everything from the appetizers to mains were on point. Pico is made in-house. Spicy steak had a perfect level heat. You will not be disappointed. Staff was top shelf, Danielle (server / mixologist) makes 5 * star drinks. Hidden gem 💎

We came here in the summer and now we celebrated my moms 80th birthday. The staff was nice. The food is really good. Being able to try some authentic plates made with so much carefulness and detail, you almost don’t want to eat it. Our party had steak, shrimp, salmon, enchiladas and all was great! Give them a try!!
