Delicious food, great service and a beautiful space. La Mala opened in the old Clouds Brewery on West; and they did a fantastic job transforming the space. The patio is sprawling and comfortable and affords plenty of shade for hot nights. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and accommodating. I'm vegetarian; and asked if the kitchen could make something that wasn't on the menu. Not only did they make me some of the best vegetarian tacos I've ever had, the chef said he thought they came out so well that they might add the dish to the menu. Everything was so flavorful -- the veggies, the refried beans -- and the corn tortillas were some of the best I've had. They don't have "chips and salsa" which was a bit disappointing at first, but they have "tostadas" in lieu of chips -- essentially whole fried tortillas that you can break off into chips. Raleigh downtown needed this! Five stars all the way around!

La Mala Raleigh has an awesome vibe with upbeat music, creative cocktails, and flavorful Latin dishes. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable — perfect for dinner or drinks with friends. Dishes: Mexican fries 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Birria Tacos 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Asada Tacos 🔥🔥🔥 Churos 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Nice swanky spot with a modern, sophisticated feel especially in the indoor dining room. The service was great and we definitely enjoyed the ambience. The food was good, nothing mind blowing. We had a pretty good guacamole, and I like that the tortilla chips came in the tortilla shape and you break it up to dip. My tacos were average, but the cliche dish was the winner. The mezcal Manhattan was fantastic. Nice spot, would be great for groups and having fun with friends.

I had a great time here. I ordered 2 entrees and so did my buddy. We split the guacamole as an appetizer. Everything was absolutely awesome. The birria tacos were fantastic and we both ordered some of the as a da tacos. The chicken tacos were also very good. Our server was also fantastic, she brought the food extremely quickly and was supper attentive.

The AM Party at La Mala was an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was fantastic, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The reggaeton music kept the energy going all day and created the perfect vibe for a great time with friends. What truly made the experience special was the hospitality. A huge thank you to Jesse, for providing us with a complimentary VIP table. Their attention to guests and commitment to creating a memorable experience really stood out and made us feel genuinely welcomed. La Mala delivers the complete package: amazing food, great drinks, an incredible atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend it and can't wait to come back! Muchas Gracias !!
