Dos Taquitos is a must visit if you’re in Raleigh, but make a reservation, especially on weekends. We went on a Friday night and the wait for walk-ins was around 90 minutes. The restaurant was busy and lively, but the service never dropped. Jesus, our waiter, was attentive, friendly, and handled everything smoothly despite how packed it was. That level of service stood out. The food was excellent. My husband ordered the enchiladas, and I had the fajitas with chicken, steak, and shrimp, great flavor and generous portions. For our toddler, we ordered quesadillas and rice, and they were very accommodating with a high chair, which made the experience easy for us as a family. The drinks were also a highlight. The margarita and “flaca” (skinny) margarita were both well-made and refreshing. The atmosphere is energetic, fun, and perfect for groups. During the ~2 hours we were there, we saw multiple birthday celebrations, which says a lot, this is clearly a go-to spot if you’re celebrating or coming with a larger party. If you’re looking for Mexican food in Raleigh with great service, a lively ambiance, and a place that works for both families and groups, this is a great spot. We’ll definitely be back. If it’s your first time, order the fajitas and a margarita, you won’t miss.

Had a wonderful time here with a big group of friends for a birthday. The chicken coup outside was cool and unexpected. The carnitas were dry, but the enchiladas and the salsa were amazing. I would definitely come back. It’s nice they allow large party reservations. Hard to find parking when it’s busy.

Perfect Anniversary dinner, came from out of town. Amazing food! Sauces on enchiladas were out of this world! Our server, Juliet, was so sweet and knowledgeable. We even got a sweet treat for our Anniversary! Best restaurant!

We went to celebrate my son’s teenage birthday. It was our first time and the place didn’t disappoint. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The multiple sections made the restaurant cozy. Service was impeccable. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Salsa can use a little more kick but freshly made. Our waitress, Isabella was amazing and managed to bring out a last min birthday surprise sweet treat, complete with a celebratory song. We will definitely come back.

Everything about this place was special from the parking lot to the food and everything thing in-between. The people, the drinks, the ambiance all were amazing. I could go on and on. Definitely check this spot out, I'm so happy we were able too and hope to come back soon.
