I was there for a large networking event which was held upstairs. Later that evening, I went downstairs for dinner. Not too many people here on a Wednesday evening so I was seated immediately. Pleasant waiter, nice selection of food, and prompt service.

Teocali absolutely delivered for Cinco de Mayo! I went with a group of friends and we had one of the best nights we’ve had in Kansas City. The atmosphere was incredible. They had a DJ on the second floor with such a fun energy. We ended up eating our dinner on their massive rooftop which was a more relaxed vibe with amazing views of the city. Considering it was probably one of their busiest days of the year, the owner and staff gave outstanding service all night long. The food and margaritas were delicious as always, and everything ran so smoothly despite how busy it was. If you’re looking for great food, delicious drinks, amazing vibes, and an overall memorable experience, no matter what day it is, Teocali is the place to be!

Came for the show and stayed for the food. Our server Rosa was top notch so friendly and inviting. Her presence made it feel like home and that we were in a safe space. The food was so good. The torta was filling. The baguette bread was crispy on the outside, soft inside and stuffed to the brim with juicy, flavorful al pastor. And the tamales? The masa was soft, tender, and full of flavor not dry at all, which is surprisingly rare.

Started going here in 2010 during dental school. Still hands down one of my favorite Mexican restaurants of all time. The rooftop seating is awesome on a nice night. Fresh, authentic Mexican food in a family friendly environment. Haven’t found better salsa anywhere. Also a great place to catch a soccer match and have a few drinks. Highly recommend!

Food is great and the service is great. Debbie the bartender and Enrique the owner were both fantastic i would highly recommend eating there and attending one their rooftop venues. Prices are very reasonable as well.
