Everything we tried at Poncho's was amazing, but the birria quesadilla? Pure perfection. It was a transcendent experience--I will never look at another quesadilla the same way again. The portion sizes were unbelievable--the chimichanga stretched the entire length of the takeout box, at least 8 inches and packed full. The quesadilla was massive, more like the size of a pizza calzone! And the birria? Hands down the juiciest, most flavorful I've ever tasted. 5

My wife and I ate at the new Pancho's off of Vivion road this evening...the food was absolutely delicious and awesome, and very reasonably priced, we loved the atmosphere and decor, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also loved that they have free cinnamon twists(my wife calls them churro chips) and a condiment bar which has a variety of fresh, housemade sauces I loved the red hot sauce. We live nearby and I believe that Poncho's is our new neighborhood favorite fast casual authentic Mexican restaurant. We love Panchos.

Deceptive signage. As I was pulling in, I caught the sign, buy 2, get one free. Even though it was 6:00 am, I had traffic behind me and couldn’t read the details. When asked for my order, I said I guess there’s a buy 2 get one free special? The male order taker seemed confused so I had to repeat myself and eventually gave up and said 3 mixed burritos with beans. The cashier eventually came to the window, didn’t say my total and handed me a receipt for $38.18 and walked away. When she came back and I asked about the special, she told me the exclusions. Now I’m not upset there are exclusions, there’s always a catch, BUT, not having quality communication skills is what drives English only speakers crazy. If you’re going to have a special with exceptions and someone orders outside those exceptions, please have the presence of mind to at least say something. I only needed one burrito, but thought to order for my coworkers to expand the brand. Fat chance of me saying good stuff about Panchos! I’ve eaten at all the locations, including Topeka, and was excited when Vivian road opened near my house. This isn’t the first disappointing experience at Pancho’s, but it is my last at this location.

I ordered a California Burrito from Pancho’s Mexican Food yesterday, and honestly, it was really good. The portion was big enough that I saved half for the next day. However, when I decided to eat the remaining half today on my way to work, I had an extremely unpleasant experience — on my last bite, I ended up chewing on fingernails. It was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my appetite. I’m not going to lie, the food itself tasted great, but this experience has made me very skeptical about ordering from here again. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this is something that should never occur in food preparation. Please be more careful with hygiene and food handling to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers.

Great Mexican restaurant with a very nice environment. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, giving a warm smile while taking our order, which made the experience even better. The food was tasty and fresh. Definitely worth trying!
