The restaurant is beautiful and has a very stylish atmosphere. I live near the Plaza and keep my gym membership downtown specifically because I enjoy walking through the city, exploring new restaurants, bars, and concepts on my own. I had passed by Cantina Crossroads many times and always thought the space looked inviting and visually well designed, so I finally decided to stop in. The concept feels like a modern Mexican restaurant with a Mediterranean-inspired ambiance, which I really enjoyed. The overall aesthetic, lighting, and atmosphere are genuinely very appealing. I ordered the shrimp dish. The seasoning was good and the ingredients tasted fresh, but I felt the plate was a bit unbalanced in proportion. There was a large amount of rice and vegetables compared to the amount of shrimp, especially for a dish where shrimp is supposed to be the main focus. I also felt there could have been a better introduction to the restaurant experience overall. I noticed nearly every table around me receiving chips/appetizers while having drinks, including guests who were not ordering full meals, yet this was never offered or explained to me at any point, even though I ordered both food and cocktails. Since I was dining alone at the bar, it unfortunately made me feel somewhat overlooked during the experience. I also ordered the skinny spicy margarita. It was enjoyable, although sweeter than I expected for a “skinny” cocktail. Honestly, I preferred the coconut margarita, which I found more balanced and memorable. The person who appeared to be the manager was very kind and attentive, which I genuinely appreciated. Overall, I think the restaurant has a lot of potential because the atmosphere is truly beautiful, but the hospitality experience still feels somewhat inconsistent. I would consider giving it another try in the future.

Loved the ambience of the place. The food was super tasty and really good portions. The chips are insanely good, along with the guacamole. Our beverages were not only pretty but tasty as well. The staff were all so nice and attentive. Definitely will be back!

I had an outstanding experience at Crossroads Cantina and it easily stands out as one of the best upscale Mexican spots I’ve been to. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was on point—stylish, energetic, and elevated without feeling pretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can tell attention to detail matters, from the ambiance to the presentation. The food was exceptional across the board. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor—definitely a step above what you’d expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. The drinks, service, and overall atmosphere all came together to create a complete experience rather than just a meal. Yes, it’s on the pricier side compared to your average Mexican spot, but you’re paying for the full package—and it’s absolutely worth it. This is not just dinner, it’s an experience. And excellent service, so attentive! I genuinely hope they maintain this level of quality, because if they do, this has officially become my favorite Mexican restaurant.

LOVE!! If you haven’t been, go get you a coconut tajin marg and deviled eggs asap. Aleesa our server was so kind and made the best recommendations for us to order. The happy hour was perfect. I’m obsessed with this place!

This place is so cute, we did have to wait 20 mins just to even get a spot at the bar so I suggest you make a reservation. I would return here for the chips and salsa alone. So crunchy, perfect amount of heat in the salsa. Queso was tasty but it had some small chunks in it like maybe it was separating or something. It didn’t look right but it tasted fine. The birria taquitos were good, but the consommé dip lacked flavor and was too greasy. I liked dipping them in the queso much better. The steak tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had, I loved them, the crunch of the tortilla strips was a nice touch. Not sure what flour tortillas they use but they were delicious. The rice was meh. The borracho beans were a little flavorful but not amazing. I wish you could order individual tacos instead of the taco platter, because I could do without the beans and rice: they weren’t even hot and not that great. My margarita was delicious and strong. The chips and steak tacos stole the show. I will definitely come back!
