This place is a Tucson and southwestern staple. If you’ve never had a Sonoran dog then this is the place to go… There are food trucks on Congress Street that are great but they are not the original. Like Tommy’s in LA. Yes, InandOut is more popular, but it’s not the original. This is the Tommys of Tucson yet not with chili burgers, but Sonoran dogs. Just go. You have to go once.

Was out on a work trip and tried several restaurants in the area mostly looking for a Sonoran style hotdog or food, I seen Guero Canelo and went here on my last day of work in the area, I should have made it my First as I felt if I was in Sonora with the Food, Sonora Hotdog was really delicious and Brought back some memories I would definitely be back for another visit and maybe try other options on menu! They were pretty busy which I understood by how good the food was, Vegetable and sauce bar was amazing and well kept! I Recommend

I wanted to love, love, love a Sonoran Hot Dog, turns out, I just like it, cuz, I can never turn down a good dog. I heard in a song, "its all about those buns hun", and the buns here are delicious. The dog itself definitely adds some thing to party being bacon wrapped, and if you garnish it just right, your tastebuds will be treated to a plethora of tastes, hit up the salsa bar, and spice up your life. The space is lunchroom cool, no unruly bullies here, and its also clean. Once you order, you're food will be ready in under 5 minutes. I definitely enjoyed it. It's a friend's zone with benefits for me, and that's pretty good for not being in love. You owe it to yourself to visit. It's worthy.

Off our Bucket List: Sonora Hot Dog Service: ordered fast food style. Food freshly prepared. Loved the Salsa Bar including extra plates, roasted green onions and peppers. Mild heat, not like I’m use to from Texas

I really wanted to like the food here. It was absolutely disgusting. I don’t get the good reviews. The carnesada taste and smelled like fish. It was so bad. But my bf did like his hotdog.
