Caldo mar = perfection. From the broth flavour and spice level to the garnishing of cilantro that just added extra oomph. Just the right amount of seafood and diversity of seafood! Get the extra baguette on the side for dipping 🙊If I was from MKE I’d have this once a month definitely worth the trip to tauro just for the dish! Nice ambiance and staff. I came with no reservations 10 minutes before opening and they were so kind and accommodating

Well this was just superb! Arrived to Milwaukee and got this recommendation from the bartender Willow at Foy's (cool name 🥂), it didn't disappoint! Excellent octopus, excellent Service. It all turned into a Mexican red wine tasting and the same with Tequila! Cudus to the guys in the bar, you made my first day in Milwaukee!!

Our first time at Tauro Cocina. The atmosphere was great. We were the first customers so from 5-6 on a Friday it was pretty quiet. The staff were nice and greeted us coming in as well as thanked us while leaving. The waiter was a little less attentive than we would have liked but overall it was good service.

Such a beautiful space with delicious food and drinks. We ordered bruschetta, higos pizza, cilantro risotto, toro mambo and jardín de Guadalupe drinks. This restaurant would make for a perfect date night spot! Will definitely be back.

I went in without many expectations and ended up really impressed. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent, and the menu felt very creative. We started with the mussels and octopus—the mussels were great, though the octopus portion was smaller than expected, so I probably wouldn’t order that again for the price. For mains, we had the birria pizza and mezcal fettuccine, and both were phenomenal. The pizza was incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and the mezcal fettuccine was my favorite—the homemade noodles were amazing, and the added salmon came in a generous portion. The drinks were outstanding, especially the old fashioned (and I’m very picky). We tried the churro cheesecake for dessert, which leaned more bready than creamy, so I’d skip that next time. Our server, Edwin, was attentive and polite, Overall, a really enjoyable experience—I’ll definitely be back.
