Such a great hidden gem! We visited on Saturday 12/27/25 and had a great time. The restaurant wasn't busy at all so we were able to get quick, great service. I got the enchiladas suizas and my husband got the chicken fajita. Both were really tasty and made for great leftovers too! Special shout out to the chips and salsa, the chips were seasoned (delicious) and the salsas were both spicy and yummy!

I love birria! This place was great. Excellent service, attentive staff, and clean resturant. They even have a live dj. The tacos were stuffed!! The salsa is ok in my opinion but wasn't bad. I would go back!

Neat Mexican style cantina that also serves breakfast. In the Walker's Point area with a large menu including both authentic plates and American style breakfast. The service was friendly and bilingual, and the food good. Only complaint we had was that the horchata was really sweet. Large portions as well.

I had a wonderful breakfast at Catrina‘s Café this week. It was my first time there and I will definitely return! There was a very extensive menu and it was. I had a hard time deciding as so many dishes looked fabulous! I had to go with the huevos rancheros as that’s my favorite Mexican breakfast dish. It was quiet on the morning I was there, but I can imagine that it’s quite a lively place otherwise. The staff were so kind, prompt and attentive. The food was delicious! There is a side parking lot, which was nice.

Eight months ago I placed the review you see below. I am updating. One night i went to learn that they closed the kitchen because of issues. I returned a week later and the plate I ordered... the meat had a bad taste... an after taste. I literally only ate the eggs. I told the bartender who from visits I had come to really like who mentioned they had a new supplier. She told the waitress who protested because I had not told her sooner. The owner was there and never came to ask me a thing but she did offer me countless alcoholic drinks that I turned down. I was not in the mood. My stomach was getting upset and I just wanted to leave. Waitress came with the bill and a supposed "discount" I think at most only $1 was taken from my bill. So yeah. Even though I had a good opinion... 2 times in a row of disappointment... well, you draw your conclusions. 8 months ago.... I recently discovered this restaurant/café and I must tell you to go see it for yourself. It has not disappointed the two times I have been there in the last two weeks. The service, atmosphere, and food have been outstanding. The first time I had the "churro French toast" and a Mexican coffee made with canela." Outstanding! The second time, I had the mixto fajitas. Many of us have had fajitas at many places and they are mostly vegetables that are cut so thin that you barely taste anything. Not here. They had plenty of shrimp, chicken, and steak. The vegetables were cut thick and you can feel the crunch as you bite into them. I also had a strawberry mojito. Delicious! Muchas gracias. Ya nos vemos pronto!
