November 2025: I went to Cafe Corazon in Riverwest with three family members to celebrate a birthday. Two of the family members are ADA. When we arrived, we were welcomed by staff and seated at a lovely booth at the back of the restaurant near the restroom, which was perfect. There was enough space for us all and the location was what we preferred. Very accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly! I believe her name was Selene. She provided exceptional customer service. For lunch, I ordered the avocado salad with chicken and it was amazing! Fresh, quality ingredients, filling, and I liked the seasoning on the chicken. My family ordered the steak tacos, both Mexican and American style, and the breakfast tacos on the brunch menu. We all loved our food! To end the lunch, we had their homemade Tres Leches Cake topped with toasted coconut. It tasted like it came right out of some Abuela's kitchen. It was so good!

Nachos This starter consisted of corn tortilla chips smothered in queso sauce with choice of beans, topped with red salsa, lime cilantro crema, cilantro, and avocado. Protein options were ground beef, steak, chicken, chorizo, carnitas, pork bibil, shrimp and salmon. Vegan and vegetarian options were also available. I chose the steak. The chip to topping ratio was balanced. The portion size was enough for 1 adult. The pricing was reasonable for portion for the portion size. Overall, I enjoyed this starter. I liked the lime cilantro crema. I would order this starter again.

Prepare to be blown away. Fresh ingredients, wonderful service, and a very beautiful outdoor seating area. We enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Especially impressed by the vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Flavorful and creative food, for sure! Also a huge fan of the happy hour deals. Will definitely go back when we're in town next! Thanks especially to our server, Dassie!

First time visiting the Riverwest location and we got our order to-go. Even though we waited an extra 20 min past when our order was supposed to have been ready, our food was not even close to warm which is odd as we only live ten minutes away, so it should have at least been warm. We paid an extra $3.50 for avocado on our steak tacos, and that was completely missed. Added my own salsa as otherwise it was pretty flavorless besides the over use of onion. Rice and beans were undercooked with no flavor. So basically we paid $39 for two enchiladas as the steak tacos weren’t the way we ordered them (avocado makes the taco for me) and the rice and beans weren’t edible past a couple of bites. In this economy, that’s a crime. Tried calling to voice our concerns over being charged for something we didn’t receive, but nobody answers the phone and the outgoing voice message says they don’t monitor voicemails. Frustrating.

Never disappointed. Great food. We took advantage of the Happy Hour menu and the entrees were very good portions. The pics are a representation of the food we couldn't eat and carried out. In one word, YUM 😋
