We stopped in today and were immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The decor is warm, thoughtful, and authentically done. A great vibe. The food was a mixed bag. The Esquite was a standout, genuinely unique and well-executed. The rice was excellent. My wife ordered three tacos (pork, steak, and chicken) and enjoyed them but lacked noticeable with the pork taco flavor. The chicken in every dish delivered. Where it fell short was the steak and shrimp in the fajitas. For the centerpiece of the plate, the flavor just wasn’t there. It needed more depth and seasoning. Overall, Allende has real strengths and is worth a visit. The atmosphere alone makes it worth coming back. We’d return and order differently next time.

The atmosphere is a whole vibe. The furniture comes from their hometown which adds charm and character . The food is authentic and the flavors are favorable to the palate. Don’t miss your opportunity to taste upscale Mexican cuisine . Also the bartender Juan is fantastic

Nice upcycle from Stak’d. Sat at the bar, first thing I noticed was the decor. Nice choice on the bar chairs! A little splash of decor on the walls, but it still feels a little like a burger joint. Thought to try it in a weekday to avoids weekend traffic. The standout food was the Nopalito tacos. Ordered were the Nopalito, Asada, Pastor and Birria tacos. As well as a Rojas de Papa enchilada. I would say that the taste was genuinely authentic, but not stellar. Good flavors, but nothing that stands out and made me want to come again and again. Your taste may differ though, I definitely suggest giving them a shot! Drinks are strong, but enjoyable. Again nothing bad, just not a memorable experience. If you’re hungry for Mexican cuisine and you’re close, stop in. Quick standouts; the black beans and the Nopalito tacos. Pro tip, order some chips and salsa and dip them with your black beans. That was a good combo.

Food is delicious and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their dishes adding their unique twist on classic dishes! Beautiful space with great energy, makes it a great place to grab drinks and catch up with friends.

Incredible food! The shrimp tacos and the mushroom and squash flower quesadillas were out of this world. Go!
