I love the atmosphere, but the food is mid and so was the service. The patio is so beautiful, but wouldn't kill them to add fans outside for the south Texas heat. The skinny margarita was good. The food? Eh. I personally like salsa verde to be more on the tangy than sweet side, and the rice was slightly under cooked. We had a side of guacamole that lacked flavor. We rarely saw our waitress, and then another waitress came by to give us the check and didn't offer us anything else. We were going to order desert. We felt like we were being rushed out and there was hardly anyone there. You'd think they'd want a larger ticket amount. I'm not planning on going back unless I just want a patio experience and maybe chips and queso.

Our visit to this restaurant was pleasant. We were a large party without a reservation lol so the wait was about 1hr 45min. If you're a large party, I encourage you to make a reservation the day before, as they dont allow same day. Our family had enough time to look at the menu, so ordering drinks and food went smoothly. I ordered a long Island and my husband ordered a blue Hawaiian, both drinks were very good. I ordered the un poquito de todo plate and although it wss good, my food was warm. I still ate it 🤷‍♀️. The rice was kind of dry though, beans were good 👍, enchilada was good and so was the taquito. My kids ordered the chicken fajitas and i feel like the plate had just been sitting there because the onion and bell peppers were black 😟. Other than the food, the women's restroom was dirty 😕. Overall the experience was ok, little things could have made the experience better but i think i would return again for a special occasion or to give the restaurant another chance and see if i can do a 5star review 😀.

We attended the Fiesta Annual Kick off! 🎊 We had a great time. Featuring 🥴 yummy margaritas and delicious appetizers! Enjoyed the Mariachis & live music. Coming back next year😁

We had a wonderful experience at La Fogata Mexican Cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out just right. You can tell they put care into what they serve. Everything we tried was delicious, but what really stood out was the friendly service and relaxed vibe. It is the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal, good drinks, and feel completely comfortable. We left very happy and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Mexican food and a nice dining experience.

The ambience in this restaurant alone is magnificent. Drinks and service were great and overall we had a great time . The food itself was lack luster especially when you think of that authentic blend of Mexican and San Antonio taste we have in the city . Flavor was s lacking , however I did only have the enchiladas. My 1st suggestion would be the chips and salsa to start . Chips need to be warm and salted . And the two salsa options definitely need a more flavor, seasoning and depth . I would definitely go again for the atmosphere and margaritas alone .
