Maria Bonita Mexican Restaurant & Cantina is clearly a local favorite. We had about a 20–30 minute wait, and parking took a little patience (there are multiple lots, but it’s busy). Totally worth it. The interior is adorable—warm lighting, rustic brick, and charming woven bird-nest décor hanging from the ceiling that gives the space a cozy, artisanal vibe. The margaritas were excellent. I had La Patrona, which was smooth and perfectly balanced. My husband ordered La Tóxica, a spicy margarita with jalapeño-infused tequila and prickly pear—sweet, spicy, and delicious. Food was solid. The Queso Fundido came in a cute cast-iron pan and hit the spot. The Maria Bonita Combination impressed with tender beef fajitas and cheesy enchiladas (flour tortillas were slightly dry). My Enchiladas Verdes had great flavor, though the chicken was a bit dry and could’ve used more salsa verde. Service really stood out—Byron was friendly, patient, and welcoming. Bonus perks: happy hour daily from 3–6 PM, mariachi on Wednesdays and Fridays, and a DJ on Saturdays. We’ll definitely be back, especially for margaritas and happy hour. 🍹🌮

First time coming here and Abigail our waitress was awesome! She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out great, and she checked on us just the right amount. She made the whole experience enjoyable and we really appreciated her great attitude. Definitely one of the best servers we've had. Thanks, Abigail! 😊

I don’t know where to start. The service was amazing. The drinks were amazing. The food was excellent and amazing appetizers were amazing. The dessert was also amazing. And David and his mariachi band are definitely what they sound like. They are a very amazing group of gentlemen.

Wonderful food and service! Came here during a day trip and the food was delicious! And also insanely reasonably priced 🙌🏽💪🏽 Had the enchiladas, tacos, French toast, queso, fajitas, various salsas, and the tres leches. Everyone loved their food and we will be back - there was plenty of parking and our meal for 4 people was wonderful ✨

Starting off with the atmosphere.....gorgeous. Visually eye catching. I sat at the bar where I was served by Benji making my cocktails and Lorena taking my food order. Both amazing. Benji made very tasty and satisfying drinks. Lorena gave me great food suggestions according to my taste preference. I was not disappointed. I felt very spoiled on my visit. The attentiveness they both provided me will definitely keep me coming back.
