This was a great Mexican place along the river. Probably the best one on the Riverwalk. Food portions were outstanding the taste was excellent You can tell they know what they're doing. Wait staff was outstanding, our server was Johnny Walker and he was super personable and chill and made sure we had what we needed. Another server, Robert, came up to us to ask us how we were doing and was super cool genuinely interested in us, what a great vibe at this location. Just know you are one level above the Riverwalk so you're not going to watch people walking by if that makes a difference but definitely come here for the food you won't be disappointed

This was my 2nd time eating here, as I was in town a 2nd time for BMT Graduation. We ate on the patio at the Riverwalk. Not pictured is the Nacho appetizer that was fantastic! We were unable to eat it all before the incredible entrees showed up. I recommend eating here, its a unique & delicious experience, as Mexican restaurants on the East coast are quite different.

Our dinner was delicious. We ordered the chips & queso, it has a bit of a kick to it. I had the Chicken Fajita Chalupas with refried beans and cilantro rice. It was amazing. My husband ordered the Chicken Fajita Verde Enchiladas with refried beans. The verde sauce was the best we’ve ever tasted at any Mexican Restaurant. Would certainly recommend!

Made a reservation for valentines dinner and enjoyed our experience. We had seating a little above the river level. The outdoor seating was spacious and had enough privacy. Will our server was great. We had the mango margaritas, queso, chipotle chicken and chicken mole. We enjoyed all of it. For dessert we had the flan and tres leches. Everything was delicious

We visited Acenars on a Tuesday night, celebrating a wedding. They were gracious, very welcoming considering we did not have reservations. The food was fantastic, wait staff very professional and great with food recommendations. We met with Chef Richard who graciously sent out appetizers to participate in our celebration. We had an awesome experience and recommend this restaurant to everyone.
