Visited La Playa Mexican Food & Mariscos multiple times and finally decided to leave a review. Overall, I’d give it about an 8/10. The atmosphere is one of the biggest highlights. The restaurant has a colorful tropical vibe, good music, and a lively crowd. Every time I’ve been there, the place has been packed with people enjoying themselves, and the energy always feels positive and welcoming. I ordered the red snapper with mashed potatoes and vegetables, along with fried rice and refried beans. My business partner had the chicken fajitas. The food presentation was very nice, portions were solid, and everything came out fresh. The red snapper was seasoned well, and the fajitas looked great too. This spot is good for date nights, birthdays, drinks, or just enjoying a meal with friends or family. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re looking for good food and a fun atmosphere on the west side of Cleveland. No hype, just real talk. 💼

We visited this place just on a stroll wanting a new food place to experience. The food was plated really nice, some of the food we ordered (fish tacos and the empanadas) was really great. The enchiladas wasn't bad just not to my liking. The restaurant itself was setup very beautifully, customer service was good just a little on the slow side. But those custard margaritas definitely will go back for those delicious. Overall thank you La playa staff keep up the good work

Hands down the best Mexican/Seafood restaurant that I have been to in Cleveland.. There isn't many runs Seafood as strong as this place. We went on a Friday and it was extremely busy! We opted to sit at the bar. Margaritas where delicious I had the fish with clamsand mussels wow that sauce smack! Wifey had ribeye with jumbo shrimp w/ bacon wrap she enjoyed it very flavorful but my Mahi Mahia was doing the most look at the pics to show the beautiful presentation we high recommend this place.. The shrimp appetizers sauce was fire! Street parking is minimal we had to pay across the street.. That won't stop us from coming back..

Quick Late Dinner, about third visit here, better to go on a slow weekday night when it's more quiet. Great atmosphere. Some of the best shrimp I've had in a long time. The soft serve margaritas are excellent! It was very busy. We did not have a reservation, but we're seated within 20-25 minutes. Our server was not very attentive. We had to hunt him down to get drinks and our bill.
