Great food with high local vibe. The taste of the pizzaria and tacos is wonderful. The beef is cooked in such a way that it's full of the flavor. It's soft enough that you don't need to take a lot of effort to bite and chew.

I am writing this through tears of genuine joy. If you are reading this, stop what you are doing and get to La Guelaguetza immediately. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas with Black Mole, and the first bite was life-changing. It was smoky, rich, notes of chocolate, pepper. It makes other meals feel like a distant, grey memory. My partner had the Pizzabirria and said it was single greatest thing he has eaten in his entire life. the Tiramisu was fire as well, light and spongy. The chef told us he cooks with love, because he wants to make people happy. Sir, you have not only succeeded; you have achieved a level of culinary divinity. My wish for this staff and this kitchen: May you never hit a red light for the rest of your lives. May your favorite songs always play the moment you turn on the radio. May you always find the rainbow at its brightest, and may the sun break through the clouds every single time you need it. I will never again pass through Albuquerque without returning to this sanctuary of flavor. Thank you for a meal that didn't just feed us. it healed us. 😭🥹

Hands down best meal we’ve had in AGES! The mole was incredible, we got it with all 3 mole so we could try them all. So rich and complex, absolutely loved it! We also got the birria tacos, perfectly executed, no notes! Also, we had a friendly waiter, and all the other wait staff checked in with us as well. We were taken care of. Food came out quickly too.

First visit to this restaurant. You will miss the sign easily. Family owned and run. Food from Oaxaca and includes different kind of moles . Very good food with no fringe and good price . I had chicken breast with spicy mole with tortilla . Nutella cheesecake is home made . Will go back again . Chefs have been recognized by James Beard nomination recently.

Don't underestimate this place!! I would have to say this is my new favorite mole in the country! We tried all three moles and they were fabulous. Our favorite was the Coloradito though. They use all natural/authentic ingredients and cook it for 16 hours... a true art!! Our server was amazing and even though they were busy he took excellent care of us. He made great recommendations and made us feel welcome! (Everyone did!) I highly recommend the Chicken Enchiladas and the Homemade Nutella Chocolate Cake. We'll be returning on our next trip through Albuquerque to try more menu items!
