Had an amazing experience at Diego Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The asada was full of flavor, and both the ceviche and aguachiles were incredibly fresh and tasty. The tacos are definitely a must try, and we couldn’t leave without trying their flan — the perfect way to end the meal. Huge shout out to the chefs for such an incredible meal and experience. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Definitely recommend and we’ll absolutely be going back!

Overall Diego is a good Mexican spot in the area. We’ve been here a few times but usually for just drinks as they have a good happy hour and a great patio when the weather is nice. We grabbed dinner the last time we came and the food was pretty good! Burger was great, fries were perfect, quesadilla was average, and the salsas for the chips were solid. Service wasn’t the best this day and where we were seated was a tight spot.

We had a group of people that wanted to visit, eat, & drink for a few hours close to the United Center but not right next to it. I had driven past Diego many times and decided the location was perfect. We made a reservation a day before, the table was ready and waiting. I did observe smaller parties coming both with & without reservations being seated promptly as well The service was so friendly and kind. The mixed drinks were creative and so tasty. Great Mexican beers on tap and bottled. THE FOOD!!!!!! Tacos were phenomenal. Ceviche & Tuna tartar tostada had so much amazing flavor, enough heat to warm your mouth but not overpower the textures & taste. The bowls & burrito are filling and yummy. Definitely not your average Mexican food, elevated flavors in familiar forms at Diego. We found a new favorite place to go when we are in the area! Thank you Alex D. for taking such good care of us.

10s across the board. If you’re looking for drinks and great food, this is the place. My friends and I stopped in for some late night food, and everything was incredible. The cocktails, burritos, and tacos were all so good. I wish I ordered more haha.Super cozy spot, our server was the best. AND they have brunch!

Awarded one of the best Mexican restaurants in Chicago, Diego is a must stop. The food is very flavorful and they have a wide variety of cocktails. They also have local beers on tap and my favorite was the lager. The staff is very friendly and the entire restaurant has a fun joyous vibe.
