Dawn Sosh 2 months ago1st time here! Amazing experience. Birria tacos were the best I've ever had. Carne Asada burrito perfect and big too! Dragon roll was delicious! Everything was wonderful including the staff! Will be back soon! They also gave me a free cheesecake for my birthday! 💜
justin “The bald one” cooper 4 months agoWe were stuck in downtown mesa for 2 hours, and I came across this place. I LOVE sushi, and I really LOVE Mexican food. So this place is a match made in culinary heaven. It started as a food truck and now has a brick and mortar location on Main Street. The place was clean, the staff was super friendly and it was insanely good food. I got the following: Birria ramen. Take regular ramen noodles and add birria consume and birria meat. It was hot and delicious, we added the fresh onion and cilantro and lime from the salsa bar and it made it even better. Carne asada taco. Wanted to see the quality of their asada on just a plain taco and they did a great job. It was great meat, well seasoned and has the perfect little char to it. The guy suggested a flour tortilla (he said where he grew up In Mexico they always used flour and it’s his preferred method), so I went with flour and it was honestly really good. The salsa bar has the onion/cilantro mix and I also added a drop of green and red sauce as well. The carne asada taco alone is worth a visit. Surf and turf Roll: shrimp, carne, cucumber, cream cheese, avocado and then lightly breaded and fried. Served with eel sauce-I’m telling everyone about this and think it’s such a unique twist on Mexican food. Overall I absolutely suggest hitting this place up, it’s worth a visit and we really suggest trying a variety of items but coming here and skipping on the rolls is missing out on their absolute best stuff-it’s what sets this apart from dozens or hundreds of other great Mexican restaurants in the area!
David Staples 5 months agoFood was excellent. Should be given a Michelin star. Very classy presentation and delicious. Interior decor is far superior than most places in Mesa. Definitely returning soon and often.
Jacob Gibbons 7 months agoSaw this place recommended from a couple different Instagram influencers and came to check it out. We ordered the Surf&Turf roll, Landlubber roll, Vegas roll, and Jalepeno Dragon Roll, as well as sushi balls and a variety of tacos. Everything we tried was delicious and would recommend. The salsa and dipping sauce bar was wonderful with options for both the taco and sushi offerings. Definitely highly recommend the chipotle sauce and the jalapeno soy. The crab salad and veggies that accompany each roll were also nice. The signature Jalepenodragon roll was a unique experience with baked cheese on top but definitely recommend giving it a try. Ordered a horchata to drink which was delicious as well. Medium size dining area but very clean and well put together. Not a huge amount of parking but was not problematic for us midday on a Saturday
