I really, really want to love this place, but I cannot in good conscience give five stars for the diminutive burrito I just paid for. For $17, I guess I was expecting something Chipotle sized or bigger. That’s my bad, going in with these expectations. But come on…. $50 for two burritos and a bean dip and a single fountain drink is loco. It’s true, the service was exceptional, the vibe is fantastic, and the chili relleno burrito was delicious. The chips and salsas and bean dip were also excellent. But $50 for two burritos and a bean dip and a single fountain drink is loco. It’s just a burrito on a white plate, not even cut in half, with no wrapping, no side, no salsa, no nada. And that’s fine, but that burrito better be impressive if it’s on that plate all alone. It wasn’t. It was a poorly wrapped, leaking from both ends, sad state of affairs. It tasted great, but man, what a let down. Aside from the ambiance, our group has no desire to come back. Que pena.

From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed like family was honestly a great experience. I got the carne Asada burrito while my wife got the carnitas burrito. Both were amazing and we started out with the chips, salsa, and bean dip with absolutely no complaints. The bean dip was a perfect blend of spice and saltiness and when combined with the homemade mild salsa which honestly takes u back to when u had your Nana's homemade salsa as a kid. Then we ended the night off with churros which really did taste like the ones at dinsnyland. The canned beer is also their own blend which tasted great I highly recommend the apple pie cider corps was hands down a great cider. Everyone here is so very nice and makes you feel like you are apart of the family!! We will definitely be back to try the breakfast 😋

Everything was amazing! I definitely recommend the chips and salsa. They come out warm and the spicy habanero sauce is perfect. If you’re craving an appetizer, the shrimp platter is a great choice. And the carnitas tacos ended up being our favorite.

Very surprised no one is talking about this place. The service was so good I was convinced the staff had known me my entire life. Easily a 100/10. We started with the bean dip — and listen, I’m not a bean dip guy. Never have been. But apparently I just hadn’t met this bean dip yet because I would now defend it with my life. Then the carnitas tacos showed up and completely changed the trajectory of my evening. Out of this world. Ridiculously good. The kind of tacos that make you sit there quietly for a second after the first bite and rethink your standards. Absolutely coming back.

First time visit to Burritoholics in downtown Mesa, and we were super pleased with our visit. The ambiance has a chic design and the place is spotlessly clean. The service was great throughout the visit, and we took some food recommendations from the bartender. We got the spicy bean dip appetizer and the El Gallo burrito. Both were excellent, but we especially enjoyed the bean dip. We will definitely be back. For the craft beer drinkers, get it to go when you're headed to Chupacabra.
