Maldonado Estrada Ale 5 months agoThe taco only came with a single tortilla, and at almost $4 it felt a bit pricey. The chorizo breakfast burrito with tater tots was actually really good — not greasy like some of the other reviews mentioned. I’d give it an 8/10. The Vegas roll was my favorite of everything we tried. The surf and turf roll wasn’t my favorite; it was edible, but I wasn’t a fan of the meat used. I didn’t personally try the California roll, but my picky eater (my daughter) enjoyed it, so that’s a win. Don’t always believe the bad reviews — I’d say give it a try. It was pretty empty when we arrived around 7 pm, and our food came out in about 25 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all. Service was good; the young lady helping us was very nice, told us to take our time with the menu, and encouraged us to ask questions. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Beautiful Broussard 2 months agoThe food is good. About average on taste. The service is good also. It takes a while for the food to be ready but the staff is attentive. It's expensive in my opinion. $8.95 for a small piece of cake in my opinion is outrageous. I tastes great but could and should be lower in price. I think it's too much competition out there to have such high prices. Walmart sells Tres Leche cakes. I mean....give me a reason to want to return for YOUR cake instead of going elsewhere. I'd rather go somewhere else with the same cake but lower prices. It's not like it has gold on it. But that's just me. Over here ranting about cake. Lol. Other than prices I'm a happy customer.
Ashley Godinez 2 weeks agoCame here at around 8:30 pm (Mesa location). Got multiple orders of the 4 street taco plates, including al pastor, asada, and chicken. We were the only people there waiting, maybe the emptiness should’ve been a sign. There was zero sound from the kitchen of cooking any fresh food, I assume it’s just reheated. Meat was fatty, ALL food was cold, tortillas were just heated up not even placed on a grill. I’ve ate from the Tempe location and there seems to be better quality coming from there, seeing multiple other reviews stating the same. Avoid Mesa location.
Kyle Charlie 8 months agoFirst time visiting this restaurant and it was a good experience. Not being too familiar with the menu we had questions that were answered by the young guy taking our order. We ended up getting the Cielo y mar Tierra roll and the pastor roll. Both were scrumptious. For someone who doesn't eat sushi on a regular basis, I really enjoyed the flavors of each roll. Definitely a place worth visiting again to try the other rolls. And there are plenty ! The one and only draw back of this place is they don't have a fountain drink machine and the selection of bottled sodas is limited.
A H 7 months agoI normally order through Uber eats. I didn't realize that this order defaulted to the Mesa location when I normally go to the Tempe location off of university. That was my mistake for not noticing so I still picked up the order. I got the chips and salsa with red salsa, which is supposed to be two big cups of salsa. I also got the al pastor tacos which is supposed to be two smaller cups of salsa with avocado Crema I got home and I noticed they only gave me one big cup of green salsa. I called and A man answered and said he could totally fix that. When I got back to the store a woman at the front said that they don't do that but she would go in the back and check then came back with one small cup of salsa. Sadly the tacos, the salsas, the bean and cheese burrito, and chips were all very disappointing. I got a lemonade as well which had a very weird taste to it
