I forgot to get pictures of our delicious meals. We were hungry and ready to eat. Thank goodness we came to this establishment. Every worker was friendly and attentive to our table. Before our server made it over to introduce himself. A female worker stopped by with a fresh basket of chips and salsa. 10/10 definitely recommend! We'll be back again!

We bike past 14 other oceanfront Mexican restaurants to dine at Side Street Cantina - our FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in Virginia. It is a family-run restaurant and they welcome you to their table like you're one of the family! Alicia pours the most refreshing margaritas as her infectious laugh is heard throughout the place. Juan assures that the queso and white sauce are exactly what locals expect at a Mexican restaurant. Judy mixes up fresh guacamole table-side just the way you like it. Arturo quietly memorizes your favorites and has them delivered to your table before you even ask. Ally lights up the room with her warmth and smile. And the food is always hot and fresh - satisfying that Mexican craving. Come see for yourself - you will not be disappointed!

Crab and shrimp dip is absolutely amazing . I had the chicken and chorizo tacos and my husband had the tuna tacos. They were both the best tacos we have ever had , and we eat at Mexican restaurants once a week back home. Hands down the best Mexican food we have eaten.

Excellent food atmosphere and staffing. I got the steak cantina the wife got the chicken fajitas and my daughter got the California burrito. We all agreed it was possibly the best Mexican meal we’d ever had. Everything was busting with flavor. We will definitely patronize this place every trip to VB!
