Had our dinner here during our visit to Virginia Beach, one of the very few good options for Mexican food here. Good ambience, have seen families with kids here so great for families as well. You get complimentary chips and dips, we tried the fish tacos and biria tacos it slaps! Also the tropicolada was yum!

Nice place. Very nice people. Two of us had very different Mexican dishes and both were great. Went in at 6:00 on a Thursday and we were seated right away. I’ll come back. Thanks

Great place to celebrate Cinco De Mayo! The staff was amazing, the drinks were great, the food was better. The Cevciche tostados were new and amazing, coupled with the tropicolada, perfect dinner. Everyone was ready to celebrate!

Las Palmas has a great beachfront location, and the outdoor seating is definitely one of its highlights. Dining with an ocean view and the breeze coming off the water made for a really enjoyable atmosphere. I ordered the Vegetarian A Combo from the menu, and it was pretty good — fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. The chips and salsa were also a nice touch to start the meal. Service was a bit on the slower side, which took away from the overall experience slightly, but the staff was polite and accommodating. If they could tighten up the service a bit, it would really elevate the experience. Overall, it’s a solid spot for casual Mexican food by the beach, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a relaxed meal outdoors.

Something has happened to this location. When they 1st opened the atmosphere was fun, employees were always laughing & the service was great. We’ve been 2 times in the last months & both times we had to physically find someone to come take our orders . The cocktails took forever to get to the table & the employees don’t seem to be happy at all. We actually had to get up from the table to get someone to bring the check . The food is great, but the service may not be worth the hassle. I hope whatever is going on they get it corrected soon. It’s a great view!
