This is the spot for real street Mexican tacos from Jalisco 🤫 I’m a Mexican-American with first hand experiences and I can tell you this is the freshest, closest to taste tacos in all of Austin! Definitely will recommend and will be coming back! Try the Campechano Torta and the Suadero and then u can talk all u want primo! 🤌🏼🤤🤤

I walked here from my hotel and ordered six tacos to go, 2 birria, 2 steak, and 2 al pastor, which was about $30 before tip. I’m glad I was sober enough to notice that the suggested tip amounts were 30%, 35%, and 40%—which is truly insane behaviour. I had to click “custom” to tip anything under 30%… for a to-go order… at a taco truck in the middle of a parking lot. Very scamy. I would not return due to this alone. The audacity of someone expecting a 30-40% tip at a taco truck is astounding to me lol. I’m not sure how this place has a 5 star rating, definitely something not adding up… I would give it 2-3 stars based on food quality, but the fact that they are scamming with the tips makes it a 1 star for me. The tacos were OK, nothing special. Given the location of the place in a parking lot, and the spill over from 6th street, I assume it’s mostly drunk people eating here after the bars close. I will say, if I had been drunk, I’m sure the food would have been much better.

I ordered the lengua, cabeza, and al pastor tacos. all exceeded my expectations and the al pastor had great flavor! highly recommend
