Butterfly is such a fun rooftop spot. The margaritas were impressive, the tuna tostada was delicious, and the nighttime views were amazing. The Friday night DJ was jamming with a wide variety of music, which made the whole atmosphere even better. Service at the bar was friendly and attentive — a great experience all around.

I am thoroughly impressed with Butterfly by Chef Jose Andres. What a vibe. The aesthetic just makes me so happy. I came here with three girlfriends on opening night before having dinner at Bar Mar. Here’s why you should go: 1. Breath taking city views 2. The aesthetic? The decor. The vibes. 3. The guacamole, ceviche & tacos are outstanding! 4. Free Valet (they validate) 5. The crowd? super chic. This is the opposite of Broadway 6. Had the best time at Butterfly!! The rooftop views are the best in Nashville and the whole place has such a warm, fun, energetic vibe. The Salt Air Margarita was amazing, they really perfected that salt foam! The Tostada de Atún was so fresh and packed with flavor. Honestly, what stood out just as much was the team—every server and bartender we interacted with was genuinely friendly and made us feel really taken care of. It’s one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit, especially with this beautiful spring weather!

My visit to Butterfly by José Andrés was more than excellent. I was in awe when I walked into the venue, with its beautiful interior and spectacular view of the Nashville skyline. Madison provided outstanding service—she was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and was both personable and attentive throughout the meal. I also loved that they offer glass-bottled Coca-Cola. As a big fan of whiskey, I decided on the Platano Old Fashioned. The taste of the brûléed sugar and the hint of banana made it one of the best I have ever had. The Melon Cloud cocktail was an enjoyable experience as well. The Ceviche Cítricos, with its pineapple-habanero marinade, is delightful if you enjoy a little spice. My visit was further elevated when James introduced himself and informed me about the Photo Booth available, ensuring I wouldn’t forget the memorable experience had. I will absolutely be coming back to enjoy the churros next time.

Had an awesome experience at The Butterfly Bar thanks to the bartender there. He made one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had in a long time — perfectly balanced, smooth, and clearly made with care. Great personality too, kirrolos made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. You can tell he actually knows his craft and enjoys what he does. Definitely coming back for another drink soon.
