Great food and the service was impeccable. Sat at the bar but there is also table service. We ate the enchilada suiza, chorizo tacos, fish tacos, and tlocayos and all were fresh and delicious. The bartenders (Oscar and Peraz) were attentive and freindly. Overall a great experience. And the Paloma and Frida old fashioned was great.

Always a great experience at Frida, quick and easy takeout. Nice atmosphere and fast service if you want to eat in…excellent drinks, if you want to sit at the bar and have a FEW lol

Frida cantina is the best!! My boyfriend and I eat here almost every week. It’s a neighborhood staple and the food is so good. I have never had anything bad from here. We like the burritos and the enchiladas the best and the chips and guacamole. I love the red sauce that comes with the burritos. When we do go in for happy hour drinks, the atmosphere and decor are really cute with the decorations and artwork and the plants. The drinks are so good, my favorite is the Rosita (pomegranate tequila cocktail), but I have never had anything to drink here that wasn’t amazing, like the margaritas which have multiple flavors.

Absolutely tremendous across the entire menu! Love all their tacos, Al pastor actually included pineapple and they probably have my favorite bistec tacos in Philly. The mole sauce is incredible. Everything is always consistently top notch

Frida Cantina is a small and very adorable Mexican restaurant in south Philadelphia. The restaurant was decorated very nicely and it was very clean. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, but chairs were very very uncomfortable. They looked very authentic, but you can’t sit very long. I shared tinga de pollo quesadilla and suadero taco with my friend. Quesadilla was very tasty, but we both didn’t like taco that much. Main course he had camarones al ajillo and I had camarones al chipotle. Each of them came with rice and house salad. They were very delicious and perfectly cooked. House salad was very fresh too. The service was great and all of the servers were very polite and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. They have an amazing drink menu too.
