It was our family’s first time to Mezcla and we all loved it! We created our own tasting menu by sharing 10 dishes. We started with the guacamole and salsa and this was some of the best guacamole I’ve ever had. The ceviche came next and was outstanding. Like many of the dishes, this chef surprised us by making it a little different than we’ve ever had it. The dishes were all so good that I would be hard pressed to name a favorite. We ended ordering all five of the seafood dishes and the New York strip. Every dish was delicious and outstanding. They only had two desserts - a flan and a chocolate server. Both were great, and neither were too sweet. The restaurant was very busy as it was only the third day of opening since a truck took out the entrance four months ago. Mezcla is known for their cocktails and didn’t disappoint. The bartender, Juan, took care of us till our table was ready and did a great job. We had a bottle of natural wine, a rose, from Mexico. It was the first Mexican wine I’ve ever had and was also one of the better rose’s I’ve ever had. We were lucky tonight as the restaurant was very busy and we ended up getting served the the GM, Maddie, who is so knowledgeable, personable, and the right amount of attentiveness. Overall, we loved it all and highly recommend Mezcla and can’t wait to get back!

Excellent re-opening of this modern Latin American restaurant voted best new Cols restaurant in 2026. Beautiful ambience inside. Big bar surrounded by tables, as well as some tables outside. Very good choices for drinks, both alcoholic, NA as well as dessert wines. Tried a variety of cocktails and three shareable dishes: the tomato salad, the ceviche and the stuffed pepper, all modernized a bit by the creative chef/owner. Prompt and courteous seating/service. Ample street/city parking for a fee. Highly recommended for a date night, after office, or birthday celebrations.

First experience with a fantastic first impression—will definitely be coming back for more and recommend you see for yourself! Food is fine dining, high quality and delicious, perfectly portioned with recommendations to get a few shareable plates. I enjoyed the guacamole & salsa, enchiladas suizas, tacos de pescado, and cheesecake dessert and will be back for all of it (and looking forward to trying other dishes). Reservation for 2 was made beforehand and we were promptly greeted and seated. Service was great! Everyone was kind and our server did an amazing job with explaining the brand new menu rolled out that very day. She even boxed our food for us, which was a step above! Atmosphere is super cozy and I loved that we didn’t feel rushed. The cocktail and dry January drink selections should not be overlooked. Thanks for a great experience!!!

I celebrated my birthday here and truly could not have chosen a better place. From the first sip of the margaritas to the very last bite, everything was absolutely flawless. We ordered a spread that covered all the bases—carne asada that was perfectly seasoned and tender, scallops cooked to perfection, fish tacos bursting with flavor, rich and savory carnitas, and chips and guac so fresh and addictive we couldn’t stop reaching for more. Every single dish came out beautifully and tasted even better. The atmosphere made the night feel special, and the food made it unforgettable. This place didn’t just meet expectations—it exceeded them in every way. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate something meaningful (or just treat yourself to an incredible meal), this is it. I’ll be thinking about this birthday dinner for a long time. 🌮🍹✨

Loved Mezcla! For drinks, we ordered two cocktails, the casa amor and another whose name we can't find in the online menu, but both had mescal and were delicious. For food, we had the enchiladas suizas, tacos de pescado, and tacos de cochinita, ending with the plantain pudding. The fish taco was my favorite because of the texture balance between the crunch of the corn-fried fish and the creaminess of the avocado and poblano mayo. The pork taco was also delicious, but it didn't have the same interesting texture. That being said, I would order everything again, it was just that good. Our waitress was also phenomenal and really knew the menu. Can't wait to go back!
