I went here for my birthday the other day. We got a nice spot outside to sit. We ordered the jumbo margaritas, Strawberry and Piña Colada. They DO NOT skimp lol I loved it. Then I got the pick three. I chose Chile relleno (cheese), a chicken enchilada and a beef quesadilla. Everything was really good, and while my picture might not look like it lol the quesadilla was delicious. My friend got the quesabirria tacos and they were melt in your mouth good and juicy. The meat was so tender. 10/10 recommend those. Our server was really nice and on point. I recommend this place for sure and they have a great happy hour. Love it here.

The interior was very clean and it smelled good. The food was hot and fast! Good quality meat & vegetables! The service was exceptional & came with mucho smiles! The drinks were great, the water was even good! Fresh chips and salsa!

As a black woman my experience was horrible. I went out with my partner and they sat us in a table away from everyone else. (Picture below) We waited for a while and no one wanted to serve us. We finally got a server and it was straight to ordering they didn’t stick around, ask us if food was good. After the terrible experience we asked for the bill and the manager named Juan a big hefty guy asked my spouse and I “Are you sure you want to pay, I’ll give you guys a 10 second head start”! So we understood it was intentional seating us far away from others. This restaurant is racist toward black people. DON’T GO!

Delicious!! Recommended by a friend with the convenience of being right next to the hotel. Would've enjoyed the atmosphere but it was later in the evening and I didn't want to make anyone stay late but will definitely visit again next time I'm in Columbus. Food was fantastic!

The food is delicious, and the ambiance is incredibly inviting, with various sections each creating its own unique "micro-environment." Everything was excellent on my visit! ​The food was generously served, with abundant portions that were rich in flavor. The service was both friendly and fast, even though the restaurant was only at about 20% capacity. A fantastic bonus was the complimentary chips and salsa, provided in a large quantity. All of this comes at reasonable prices, making El Vaquero a fantastic choice for Mexican cuisine.
