Que Onda Tacos + Tequila Uptown

I went to Que Onda 2 days in a row while visiting Charlotte and my experiences were vastly different depending on the time of day and where we were seated. The first time, I went for lunch, got a taco salad and a margarita. We sat inside and the service was great then! Fast and attentive. The second time I went there in the evening and we were outside. The waitress took a really long time to get to my party even though the restaurant wasn’t packed at the time. It felt like we weren’t being attended to and the waitress made remarks to kind of address she felt bad for basically ignoring us. The service that time wasn’t great, but the food was both times. I recommend sitting inside if you can even if it doesn’t seem busy.

one of the best Mexican food spots I’ve tried outside of Los Angeles. Orhan service was on point from the moment we walked in. Food came out fast, the staff was super friendly, the beers were ice cold, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. You can tell they actually care about the experience they give people. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again whenever I’m in town. Highly recommend.

Orhan was awesome and gave great service the whole time. He was super friendly, checked on us often, and made sure everything came out perfect. The flautas were honestly one of the best things I’ve had here, really crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside. The portions were great too. The atmosphere at Que Onda Uptown was really fun and the food came out fast even though it was busy. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Uptown Charlotte now. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

This is my first time here and it was amazing. The employees were very welcoming and super friendly. I spoke to the manager Ms Valery. And she was also amazing. I definitely recommend everyone to come check out this spot here in uptown Charlotte.. you will not regret it. Ohhh the drink tooo…. AMAZINGG!

I had the best experience tonight at Que Onda. My friend and I came to do our weekly debrief and got the sorbet margaritas which were amazing. We had Orhan as our server and he was the absolute best. He was attentive, funny, and overall an incredible waiter. I would definitely recommend this place and make sure to ask for Orhan!!!
