The aesthetic here definitely stands out, the space is beautiful, modern, and has a really inviting vibe. The red sangria was a highlight, very tasty and refreshing. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The fish stew was uneventful and didn’t really stand out. My sister enjoyed her chicken stroganoff, my brother liked his chicken fajitas, and my husband said he enjoyed the pollo Azteca. Overall, everything was good, but nothing quite wowed us. It’s a nice spot for the atmosphere and drinks, just don’t go in expecting anything overly memorable from the food.

We recently visited Al Verde with a group of four and had a mixed but overall pleasant experience. The atmosphere was one of the highlights of our visit. It was a beautiful day, and the windows were open, creating a comfortable, intimate setting that we really enjoyed. We started with the chips and salsa. The chips were thicker than what I’m used to at most Mexican restaurants, and while they were good, I was a little surprised that they weren’t complimentary, as the appetizer cost about $7. For my entrée, I ordered the Puerco al Verde. The green sauce was very flavorful, and the pork was incredibly tender. My only complaint was that I would have liked a slightly larger portion of rice. One person in our group ordered the Arroz con Pollo and really enjoyed the creamy sauce. Another ordered a beef dish and was disappointed to find that the beef came as strips rather than a full cut as expected. The waitress had explained the portion size but didn’t mention the style of preparation. The beef was also a bit dry, and the black beans could have used more seasoning. We ended up adding some of our salsa to the rice to give it a little extra flavor. One of the standout items was the yucca fries. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of them, but they were crispy, delicious, and paired perfectly with the mayonnaise dipping sauce. In hindsight, I wish we had ordered them as an appetizer because they were one of my favorite parts of the meal. The service was polite, but there were a few shortcomings. Our waitress forgot to bring a menu for the fourth person at our table and tended to give explanations quickly before moving on, which made the experience feel a little rushed. For four entrées, one appetizer, and one side dish, our bill came to about $123 before drinks, as none of us ordered beverages. Overall, the food was good, and there were definitely some highlights, but a few issues with seasoning, expectations, and service kept the experience from being truly memorable.

Tried them for the first time on Sunday, I wanted to try their feijoada and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! The feijoada, wings, cocktails and churros for dessert were all DELICIOUS and you can taste the love. We sat at the bar and were met with outstanding service and fun conversations from two gentleman who’s names both started with a T, don’t want to mess up their names. Incredible experience and we will definitely be back to try other items. Fernando’s owners and staff really turned the place around, decor is beautiful and the vibe is great!! Unfortunately only got pictures of the churros, everything else got ate up pretty quickly lol

Exceptional food and service. We celebrated a graduation at Fernando's and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommended. Carne Asada, Brazilian drinks, and Chicken stroganoff were amazing.

I put 4 stars for one reason, the food was tremendously delicious😋!! The apthmosphere there was great! But the server(waitress) there was a little annoying,we were trying to celebrate my daughters 22nd birthday, my daughter choose an alcoholic beverage,when she show her ID to proof her age,the waitress says " i feel old now" ,we asked why,she told us that she have the same age as my daughter,22!!! Then my daughter ans husband they both like A1 sauce on their steaks,the waitress replay:" this is not a steak house to have that kind of sauce here" but the food was so good!! We enjoyed!!
