Robert Smith 4 months agoAwesome environment.. Great service.. Superb food! We started off from the drink menu as we were kid free.. bar none and really neat presentations! We had the Tree of Life. From the food menu we ordered the Chipotle Fettuccine along with the Fajita dinner served in a half Pineapple; both Amazing to say the least. Jonathan Argueta was our waiter.. Knowledgeable with the menu, funny and attentive. Will definitely visit again
John 13:7 a month agoThis was a surprise and a delight. I walked up in here and was immediately taken by all the decor. We were sat quickly and met Leslie. She was a fantastic waitress. I believe she is fairly new, but she had everything under control. From the first bite to the to-go container. I had their Hawaiian quesadilla. This was a 3-hander! I love how they cut the chicken up and they had the right amount of pineapples. I loved this thing. They have a lot of cool looking things to serve food up. Just look at the menu!
Jenna Rodriguez 4 months agoDo you like frozen margaritas after a long Friday at work? Of course you do now imagine a place where you can get margaritas, amazing food and a churro cart all at once… okay wake up because it’s not dream it’s reality at Tonys cantina. The staff are absolutely wonderful and attentive, ensuring we were good throughout our entire dining experience! If you ever need a drink, good food, and an amazing atmosphere then this is the right place for you!
Crystal Scheider 4 months agoIt was our first time at Tony's and we were excited due to the good reviews online and all the great pictures of food and drinks, however we were very much disappointed and will not return. You pay for the presentation of the food and the look of the restaurant and nothing is worth it, unless you like visuals. We waited quite a while for our waiter to come greet us and take our drink order. After we told him what we wanted, he repeated 4 waters? We in fact ordered a sweet tea, Coke, Dr. Pepper, a water with no ice, and the Mexican Flight. Our appetizers came at the same time as our food and the two others with us, got their food before our appetizers and food. For our appetizers we ordered the street corn and the Texas queso dip. The street corn was ok, as the mayo was overwhelming, and the queso was watery even after it sat for a bit, and did not look as pictured. We thought it would thicken up, but it indeed did not and the manager (? He did not introduce or identify himself.) in the green polo shirt tried to defend it by saying it's because of the meat cooked in it. We all know better as we've been to multiple Mexican Cantina restaurants over the years and I told him so. My friend ordered the Chipotle Enchilada and asked to add shrimp, but when she recieved it, they only put shrimp in it. When we asked the waiter about it, he said that you can not add anything to it and you can only have one meat, but the menu said different and we should have been notified upon ordering. The person in the green polo shirt, possibly manager, did not explain anything pertaining to this issue either or back up the waiter, but did offer to have it remade. We declined. The presentation and the sauce was great!! The other friend of ours ordered the 3 meat quesadilla that came with rice and beans. Again, the presentation was nice. The quesadilla had a good amount of meat, but it was a bit dry. My other half ordered the Texas Fajitas with rice, beans, and garlic mashed potatoes. The meat was amazing and the beans had great flavor. However, the garlic mashed potatoes were very mushy and did not taste well. I ordered the fajita nachos with steak with a side of guacamole and fresh jalapeños. There was very little cheese/queso and it was watery, but the steak and bell peppers were tasty and of a good purporation. I do not recommend their guacamole at all! The texture was that of a smoothie, almost as if it was put in a blender or a kitchen aid mixer too long! It did not have much flavor and lacked freshness and seasoning. The cost for the side of guacamole was about $5 and not worth it!! Overall we spent $150 for food that isn't even mediocre and not worth it at all!! We will not be returning. (Side note: It seemed as though our waiter was pulled in various directions in other places besides the floor, as we did not see him working any other tables or the bar. There may have been a language barrier. He was using his personal phone to take our order on. We had trouble hearing him and vice versa due to the loud music and other.) As far as the atmosphere goes, the decor is absolutely stunning, colorful, and I love the art pieces! The furniture is comfortable, matches the theme, and customized in some parts! It was also clean and well kept up! I would visit again just to admire the decir and furniture, but no food or drinks!
Scott G. 6 months agoWe had Christmas Eve dinner here with a party of seven and everything was exceptional from the moment we walked in. The ambience is vibrant, festive, and beautifully done. The décor and lighting create a fun yet upscale atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming and celebratory, especially for a holiday evening. The food selection is excellent with a wide variety of options, and every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. With a group this size, it is rare to have zero misses at the table, but that was the case here. The service truly stood out. The staff was attentive, friendly, and well organized throughout the evening. Drinks stayed full, timing was spot on, and our group felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. If you found this review and are debating whether to go, just go. You can thank me later. We will absolutely be back.
