Immediate greetings when walking in. Atmosphere is perfect for a lunch- to chat over dining, beautiful decorations/painting, Spanish music in the background(at a reasonable volume). Restaurant cleanliness is superb, especially the bathrooms. Not only was the customer service excellent but also efficient, food was well seasoned and fresh, very proportioned (had a chriz-pollo, agua fresca, flan, and bahama mami). Alcohol beverage was fruity but strong. Pricing is reasonable. Definitely will be coming back.

Just opened in the Lakewood Shopping Center across from Winn Dixie. Beautiful decor & atmosphere. Delicious food with a great selection of specialty steak & seafood Tacos, Burritos & Fajitas. Generous top shelf Margaritas, cocktails & beers. Gordo, Loi & staff are very friendly & engaging. We'll definitely be back!

My new fave spot . The restaurant is such a vibe. The service and food was amazing!!! And let’s not forget the margaritas they were on point . If you haven’t tried you need to asap .

​I stopped by Mr. Gordo's Tacos and Cantina off University Blvd in the Lakewood area. After one of "those" weeks, I didn’t just want tacos, I needed them. ​The Drink ​I started with the Chile Gordo Margarita. Since I was looking for something with a kick, this was the perfect choice. It’s their top-shelf margarita made with jalapeño syrup and fresh jalapeños. Absolutely spot on. ​The Main Event ​For the food, I ordered the Rosca de Tacos, which comes with eight tacos. The great thing about this platter is that you can choose up to four different meats. I went with: ​Asada ​Al Pastor ​Grilled Chicken ​Carnitas ​I ordered them Mexican style, topped with onions, cilantro, and their homemade spicy salsa. Every bite was delicious, but the Al Pastor and Carnitas were the standout favorites. And yes, I managed to finish all eight! ​The Verdict ​The service was top-notch, and the food was incredible. This might just be my new go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in the city.

Stopped in here today as we had seen it open, and boy am I glad we did! These tacos are handcrafted and simply amazing! This is going to be my new favorite place to eat lunch during the week!! Taco Tuesdays are $1 off any taco!! Got 4 different tacos and could not eat but two of them! So glad we ate here!!! Staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming!!
