Absolutely love this place – one of the best Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville! The service is outstanding: our server was super friendly and attentive. The food quality is top-notch – everything tastes fresh and authentic, with bold flavors in the fajitas, burrito, and street tacos. Portions are incredibly generous; we end up taking leftovers home because you get so much for your money. And speaking of price, it's an amazing value – nice Mexican cuisine at reasonable price, Highly recommend – we'll be back soon!

La Costa Mexican Cantina absolutely nailed it! 🌮✨ This dish was bursting with flavor from the very first bite. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, topped with fresh diced tomatoes, creamy guacamole, and a generous sprinkle of queso fresco that tied everything together beautifully. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. The warm tortilla underneath soaked up all the delicious flavors, making every bite even better than the last. The presentation was just as impressive as the taste — vibrant, colorful, and clearly made with care. La Costa Mexican Cantina delivers authentic flavor, fresh ingredients, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! 🙌🔥

I had high expectations based on reviews. Only 1 out of 4 in our party liked the food. It took a long time to get drinks delivered, and 1 never came until we were done eating and only after asking hostess to track down our waitress. She went missing after taking our order. Also, I did not feel like I was in a restaurant. The music and bass was very loud. It felt more like a nightclub. The waitress couldn’t even hear us when we ordered until she leaned in for us to repeat. I won’t go back.

Visited La Costa for lunch today to celebrate a colleague’s birthday. We were promptly seated and presented with the obligatory chips and salsa. The chips were fresh. The salsa tasted fresh with just the right amount of heat. Our waitress was pleasant and took great care of us. Our food came out quickly and hot! And man was it yummy. We left with our bellies full and happy.

I ordered pretty standard fare. The chimichanga with shredded chicken was absolutely delicious. Rice and refried beans were pretty standard. Choriqueso with chips is quite drippy, but very flavorful. I also had an order of Toreados, which were deliciously spicy. The atmosphere is typical, but the taste is a cut above.
