This place is a treasure in the heart of the city right next to Moscone Center. Despite its upscale location, the prices are surprisingly low. The outdoor section has a beautiful garden setting. And the food is delicious and fresh. Made from scratch salsas and generous serving sizes. One of my new favorites in the city for a modest but satisfying brunch or lunch. Highly recommend!

Great spot for Mexican food! The menu offers a solid variety of options, and while nothing was over-the-top standout, everything we tried was still really enjoyable and done well. Service was pretty standard. Friendly and efficient with no issues throughout the visit. The option for both indoor and outdoor seating is a nice touch, especially on days where the weather is favourable. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I’d recommend checking out!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is on point, the food is a culinary delight, and the drinks are perfect. We are PICKY. Even the chips and salsa are better. Service was great, very attentive. We devoured the meal 🍽️

🍹 Came for One Drink, Stayed for the Vibe I've been coming to Tropisueño for years, but last night was something special. The food was amazing as always, and the cocktails were spot on, but the bartenders completely made the night. They were having fun, interacting with everyone at the bar, making killer drinks, and creating the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay for "just one more." You know those rare places where the staff's energy elevates the entire experience? That was exactly what happened. These guys were talented, personable, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Watching them work together behind the bar was almost as enjoyable as the drinks themselves. I've had a lot of good experiences at Tropisueño over the years, but this was easily one of the most memorable. It's not often you leave a restaurant talking more about the people than the food, but that's exactly what happened. Huge thanks to the bartenders for making a great night even better. I'll definitely be back soon. 🍹🌮❤️

Only in SF will I pay $25 for tacos and not get mad about it. The various meats were delicious, the tortillas fresh, and I’ve never had such flavorful black beans, like really good beans. The restaurant has great vibes and pleasant staff.
