Ate there May 5th 2025 (yesterday/night time) So originally i was supposed to have a date here and the girl flaked on me, i ended up eating alone. Before i came here i read some of the reviews saw some pics of the food and it seemed good. I was already interested in this place. Started talkin to a girl and tells me she down to go eat and i tell her about this place, tell me she's been here before and she like the place. I get there wait outside for some minutes no replies. Finally head inside and it's a 40minute wait for a table and i was already 100% sure i was eating alone. I had already decided to stick around cuz i was hungry anyways. Im tellin this story for a reason, so anyways i got chilaquiles rojos and hell yeah they still serve eggs at night. The food was really good. The vegtables went really good with the main food. The beans were really good too. Finished it all and the food made me feel satisfied. They ended up givin me a free beer. Way earlier i had told them it wasnt a date anymore and i was eating alone (they ask how many people). So there ya go. Anyways yeah i highly recommend this place I dont live in California and if you ever around Oakland you should check it out. Im in the area cuz of my job. Will be back to try out other things.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in Oakland while visiting! Juan was so nice and I tried their Chile Rellano shrimp plate! Just wow like better than LA tbh!

Food here was a 6.5 not great but decent enough to comeback and try something different. Portion were ok except for the side dishes very small and over priced. Spent over $65 for 2 meals chips, salsa and guacamole. Too expensive for non authentic Mexican food that you can find better at a food truck for cheaper.

Decent pricing and portion size. However taste wise the veggie enmoladas plate was kind of weird. The filling was good but the covering sauce was too sweet. Even the side salad had fruits in it. It was not suitable to my taste palate but maybe other dishes would be nicer. It would also help to have more vegetarian options on their menu.

I love this place! My parents and I have dined here multiple times and we always have a fantastic time! The service is amazing and the food is always delicious! I highly recommend ordering the molcajete and the quesabirrias - both are amazing!
