I had such a great experience at La Esquinita and will absolutely be back. We went for Taco Tuesday and the deal is hard to beat—2 tacos (your choice), a side, and a drink for $12.99. I got the poblano and yam tacos, half rice/half whole beans, and a horchata (that I gave to my husband) and my husband ordered a chicken burrito. Even after leaving a 20% tip, it came out to under $20 per person, which feels like an incredible value for the quality. The staff was super friendly, and while the space is tiny, we were able to grab a cozy seat at the window which made it even more enjoyable. The food was fresh and really flavorful. One standout for me was their red salsa—it actually had some heat without that overpowering vinegar taste you sometimes get, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend checking them out, especially on Taco Tuesday. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again.

Got an Al Pastore and a Pollo taco. Both were incredible and definitely made me a fan of this place. I had a friend visit from Hong Kong and this is where I took him when he asked for authentic tacos Modest pricing for the area, but the quality is right up there They do not skimp out on the protein. These two tacos were dinner. Very filling.

4 Month Update: Still no response! I no longer eat here. I used to be a fan until I bit into my most recent burrito and chewed into what seems to be a stone that I could have easily choked on or broken a tooth on! It has been a week as of writing this and I have heard no response from them about this to my email or to my instagram DM. I must necessarily therefore give 1 Star. To not resolve an issue like this with a customer is extremely sketchy.

My husband and I love La Esquanita. We do take out and eat there. But they had amazing flautas as a “weekend special” I hope they keep them!! They were so good and something we would keep getting!

Cute place but disappointing food. Everything was bland and a little greasy. I tried 4 tacos and the pozole. The tacos had too much filling, which is a taco sin, because you couldn't really pick them up to eat. They lacked balance, with the exception of the crispy chicken, which I kind of liked. The limes were cut into tiny pieces in a weird shape so they were basically too small to squeeze. The pozole was also under seasoned. I wasn't expecting casa de toño, but it was missing flavor. Overall, disappointed.
