We had the Molcajete and it was perfect for sharing between two people. The dessert was also amazing! The drinks are delicious and the vibe is great in general. I have been there multiple times and it's been a great experience every time.

We had a great time and our server was fantastic!!! Makenzie pretty much order for us and it was delicious. So we've been here a few times, with more people and they all love the place and the food!!! We've tried a lot of the menu and it's all been great!!!

The margaritas from El Barrio Cantina are absolutely amazing! We also had the fajitas and birria lasaña which were both very delicious as well. Also highly recommend the flan for dessert, the texture and flavor were great. The servers were very attentive and friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Highly recommend!

We ordered our favorites to take home for dinner— taquitos de papa, hamachi collar, and ceviche de pescado. They were fabulous as always! We tried some new items too — pork chile verde and 4th Retro fish sushi roll—we’ve now added those to our list of favorites! All items were packaged well with sauces, cheeses, beans, etc,., and food was hot when we got home. We’re looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow! I was happy to see that El Barrio Cantina was supporting the important work of ÓRALE on this National Day of Action, donating proceeds from margaritas sold. That made me like the restaurant even more!

Pros: Great daily happy hour with a nice selection of draft beer. The small parking lot across the street looks like it's for an apartment complex but the wall is labeled. You can exit thru the back. Cons: $4 for a scoop of guac. Most of the HH food menu was pricey too: $9 for 2 potato balls.
