My first time here and I wasn't disappointed. It was early so I had breakfast. I had the Huevos Rancheros plate which included 2 eggs cooked your way, beans refried, a side of chrispy potatoes, your choice of ham, sausage links or patties and one tamale. It was served with hot, freshly made corn or flour Tortillas. It was all Hot n Delicious. The service was excellent in which the server would come by every few minutes to check in on me especially drink refills. Waitress was Friendly n Courteous and the restaurant was spacious n spotless. A Great choice to eat or drink. Highly recommend it!👍😀

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stumbled upon Teotihuacan Mexican Cafe while in Houston and it was such a great find! We were close to an appointment and craving Mexican food, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered a shrimp dish and cheese enchiladas — everything on the plate was so good. The proteins were flavorful, and the beans and rice were just as delicious. We’re from Washington State and it was about 76° on 12/10/25, so we asked if we could sit in the outdoor seating area even though it was empty. The staff said yes right away and were so kind about it. They kept checking on us throughout our meal, which I’m sure was a little extra work since we were the only ones outside, but they were attentive and welcoming the whole time. This is a great place to dine — flavorful food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’re really glad we found it and chose to eat here, and we can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Houston! 🌮🌯🍽️

Service was fair. Didn’t try the tamal nor the tortillas. The fajita and sausage cold. You would think at 8:45AM the food would be fresh. Definitely wouldn’t drive from Katy to this location again.

One of the greatest meals of my life. Servers were excellent and made sure our chips or waters were always full. Awesome vibes and atmosphere, this place is bucket-list Tex-Mex

🌶👎🏻Can't understand why is so hard for a MEXICAN restaurant to include a SPICY HOT sauce in their food free of charge. I asked the waitress if they had something more spicy / hot 🌶 🔥 than what they serve with the chips, she said "we do for 6 dollars", I'm not going to lie, I thought for a second that she was just playing around, but she remarked "yes, 6 dollars is the price for our spicy hot sauce" of course I declined, not because the $6 but bcs is totally ridiculous to have to pay extra for a HOT sauce in a MEXICAN restaurant...imagine at a Chinese restaurant having to pay $6 for Soy Sauce or at an Argentinian steakhouse for Chimichurri. Also, if you order a carne asada plate (mine was called La Betty), your steak is already cooked, they just warm it up, it's not cooked fresh(took 5 minutes to receive my food after I ordered) 🚫This was my 2nd visit here and there will NOT be a 3rd one.🚫.
