Update: I brought my mom and wife here to have a quick lunch knowing we were going to split 2 items. I also had a beer. They asked if I knew what a "splitting fee" was. I said sure, youll separate the dishes into 3 plates. Nope! They charge $5.49 if not everyone orders an entree. I ordered a beer but got chatged for the chips she said. Their chips are good but not that good. Great job on losing my business on anything but full dinners! Bad move... Original review: Wowww! This might be our new favorite Mexican place in OKC! At first i thought the prices were a little high but then saw the portions. They were double what I expected. I never get a box for leftovers, there never are any. Today I took half home! Also the service was awesome!

Had lunch here. Started with chips, cheese sauce and red salsa. They brought warm tortillas and spicy salsa Verde upon request. They make some of the best salsa Verde we have eaten! We each had the La Herradura margarita which is delicious. Hubs had the Manchame chicken with rice and beans which has quickly become his go-to meal here. I had the chili Rellano with ranchero sauce, rice and beans. You get generous portions and never leave hungry! We splurged on a to-go tres leche piece of cake to share later. If you haven't tried La Herradura at Rockwell and NW 122nd you are missing out on great food, margaritas and service!

We came across this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant in a corner of a shopping center. It has a wide selection of traditional Mexican food and Tex-Mex staples. We had to try the Mexican Trio appetizer and each could stand on its own. We both really liked the Salsa Especial. I ordered the Guiso Ranchero and Mrs. Flip Out ordered the Trompitos. Mrs. Flip Out liked the Trompitos; the meat had great flavor and the pineapple complimented the meat well. The Guiso Ranchero was spectacular; the flavors were balanced and simply fantastic. The service impeccable and attentive. This is a great place for a large gathering or any occasion.

Very good chips and salsa, and the steak fajitas were amazing. I will definitely return just for the food! Give it a try. It's not visible from Rockwell because it's at the back of a strip shopping center, but it's worth finding. Extensive menu with many options. Update: This restaurant has stayed consistent, and they were finally approved for their liquor license. Hopefully, by early October 2023, they will be serving margaritas and other alchol. Can't wait!

So glad to have this place. The space is bigger than it appears from outside and the restaurant was very clean despite being fairly busy. We were sat immediately and our server greeted with chips, queso, and salsa. We ordered a ranch water and mexican candy off their cocktail menu- both were delicious! For apps we ordered the choriqueso and ceviche. That was some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had- we will be back for more! The choriqueso was slightly than what we imagined in that it’s more so melted queso fresco topped with chorizo, served in a cast iron. We were expecting of the queso sauce mixed with chorizo, but nonetheless it was still good. We were able to mix the queso well enough to scoop onto our chips! For entrees we got the chicken flautas and machame chicken- we were stuffed but it was all too good to put our forks down. We got flan to-go and it was the perfect after dinner treat. Our bill came to roughly $84 before tip, but it was worth every penny. We had plenty of leftovers we were able to make 1-2 meals out of the next day. Our server Marlen was very kind and took very good care of us!
