An absolutely amazing experience. So much to see outside and inside, and the episodes playing on the TVs made it even better. From the greeting at the door to the thank you for coming. The service was top notch, our waiter was absolutely amazing even though they are working fast paced everytime a server or the manager would walk past they always made sure we were doing ok. It didn't feel pushy it didn't feel annoying it just felt genuine and caring. The food was sooo good, very flavorful and tasty. The cafe de olla is an absolute must we also had an agua de pepino, let me tell you they know their aguas frescas not too sweet and not watered down I would say just right for my taste. Whenever we visit vegas La Vecindad will definitely be a stop for us. Cute little souvenir shop too, bought a few things. And kudos to them because even though they were super busy the servers stopped for a few seconds so I could take a picture. Muchas gracias for an amazing experience

If you are tired of overpaying for generic, watered-down Mexican food on the Strip, do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes out to LA VECINDAD®. This place is a total local hidden gem and easily serves some of the most authentic Mexican food in Las Vegas. ​The restaurant has an amazing, vibrant theme based on El Chavo del Ocho, from the awesome decor to the signature barrel mugs. The food completely matches the incredible energy of the space. ​I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes with eggs. The tortilla chips were perfectly coated in a rich, flavorful green salsa that had the perfect amount of kick, topped with fresh crema and queso fresco. It came served with phenomenal refried beans and Mexican rice. The portions are massive and easily enough to share. ​I also tried a classic carne asada taco. The meat was perfectly charred, tender, and seasoned beautifully, served on a great corn tortilla with fresh onion and cilantro. ​To drink, you absolutely have to get the melon agua fresca. It is served in a giant barrel and was incredibly refreshing, packed with actual fresh cantaloupe flavor. Hands down the best agua fresca I have ever had. ​Make sure to save room for dessert because the Mexican flan is elite. It is thick, creamy, rich, and hit the spot perfectly. ​The service here is fast, welcoming, and they take immense pride in their food. Skip the tourist traps and come get the real deal off the Strip. This is easily a 10/10 and a mandatory stop every time I am in Vegas.

I came here for the first time yesterday. So damn good. I had the 2 taco plate with a grilled jalapeño. 1 chorizo taco and 1 carnita. Both were so tasty. My sone got fajitas and his girlfriend got a torta. Everything was great along with the service. Love it

+9k reviews at the time of this writing and a 4.8 overall.. and La Vecindad did not disappoint. We had the Chimichanga and the 2 tacos meal, tonight we came back for Taco Wednesday and All-You-Can-Eat Tacos. Had Asada, Chorizo, and Carnitas.. All were great! An excellent value with awesome service. Highly recommend checking this place out. Server was Gilmar

Great Concept, but an Unbearable Smell Ruined the Experience 🌮🤢 I really wanted to love La Vecindad in Las Vegas. The El Chavo del 8 theme is fun, the staff costumes are quirky, and the food itself was actually decent with a good price-to-quality ratio. However, there was a major issue that completely destroyed the meal for us. The Issue: A Terrible Odor From the moment we sat down, there was an unbearable smell coming from the bathroom area. It was a strong, persistent stench that filled the dining room and made it extremely difficult to enjoy the food. It’s a shame, but honestly, a restaurant shouldn't even open its doors with a plumbing or sanitation issue that severe. It completely ruined the atmosphere and our appetite. The Food & Value: • Quality: The Mexican homestyle cooking is actually "standard good." • Value: Very fair prices for Las Vegas, especially if you're looking for something colorful and different. Verdict: I can’t recommend this place until they address their sanitation and plumbing issues. It has great potential as a local gem, but the smell was a total dealbreaker. I hope the management intervenes soon because no amount of good tacos can compensate for that experience.
