We had a fantastic experience at Clase Codigo! Staff, food, adult beverages, chips & salsa all very well done! Margarita flight was a nice touch. Manager stopped by to make sure everything was good. One of the better Mexican restaurant experiences I've had in Omaha. Well done!

Delicious Mexican food!!! The vibe of the restaurant is very cute and clean. The bar is huge and fully stocked with tequila!! My house margarita was amazing for being their most "basic." It was a classic strong margarita made with fresh ingredients. The chips are complimentary to the table and served with white sauce, beans, and salsa; all very excellent. I had to try their vegetarian tacos and I was in love at the first bite. They were packed with mushrooms, veggies, and avocado. The beans and rice were a very reasonably sized portion. The beans were rich and the rice was flavorful and well seasoned. Nothing tasted like mush-it was fresh food that was done well. Can't wait to come back! Our server was very friendly and made sure to keep our glasses full.

Been there twice so far and both times the food and service has been great. They do move people in and out pretty quickly, so if there is a wait, it's not bad at all. This last time I got the Pina Bowl. It was delicious. Think i found my new go to meal. The fresh guacamole is great as well.

tl;dr: it was excellent and you should definitely try this place. Extended review: Great atmosphere, love the black and white motif. It’s not your “standard” Mexican place with agave art and neon fiesta vibes. Different in a good way. Soon after being seated we were brought a "flight" of dips with the chips. One was a Codigo sauce which is apparently a creation of their chef and just...wow. Creamy with a sweetness to it, it was SO good. Also a medium salsa, and a kind of chili/ground beef dip. All were excellent, but it's definitely worth to mix all 3 together! House margarita was good, my dining partner ordered the mango margarita and that was really good. Also sampled the pineapple jalapeno marg and the huckleberry marg. Both were DELICIOUS! Chimichanga with grilled chicken is top notch (pictured), also got the Chori Pollo (pictured) which was amazing! Did NOT feel skimped on portions. Also got the Table-Side guac, it was amazing to be able to say "no cilantro!" I didn't know I liked guacamole til I had theirs. Also a specific note on the rice, this is the best seasons rice I've ever had. With 2 margs, 2 entrees, and table-side guac, our total was $81. A note about the service: Pedro was our server and he seemed genuinely happy to be there. He was very attentive and nice, seemed to know the menu very well even though the place is so new! He was recommending things to try, but not being pushy about anything. In short, it was amazing, and this will be my new go-to Mexican place. So glad they opened!

Large tasty portions. Typical Mexican choices as well as house specialties. The carnitas were tender and had great flavor. The burrito was filled to the brim with shrimp, steak and chicken and rice and cheese. Very nicely spiced.
