I did like the steak over the chicken if I had one suggestion is to heat up the chicken before it’s served excellent two tacos, chicken and beef with nice spicy sauce. The chips don’t come with anything and that corn on the cob thing was amazing. The rice was in my opinion a little undercooked so I might try the beans next time. The rice might’ve been cooked fine just they were maybe a different type or crunchy. I did find a wire from the brush in the kitchen in one of my tacos, but they took care of it right away excellent bartender and staff I’m excited to come again.

The tacos were soooooooo goood!!! I had the fish and shrimp taco, and my boyfriend and I shared the Quesabirria tacos and that was amazing! He had the southwestern and steak, and he said they were very good also, but he really really liked the Quesabirria ones a lot!!! But if I had to pick one out of the tacos I had, it would have to be the shrimp one, it was so good! I told my boyfriend that it was by far the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few in my life time, lol. The waitress did a wonderful job, and she was so attentive and patient with us. We couldn’t decide what tacos to get and my boyfriend was also catching up with the owner, they know each other through table tennis, lol. The atmosphere was so fun and inviting and we played darts after we got done eating, and that was really fun! Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to go back! Also, the tres Leches cake was AMAZING!!! Definitely check this place out!!!!!

My husband and I happened across Taberna as we were finishing a bike ride near the Lakes. We had the tacos for two meal and it was all so delicious. Our server Melissa was great - very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Our server was very nice. Our food, however, was less than mediocre. My burrito barely had any steak in it. Scarce, tiny pieces of steak once in a few bites. It was filled with mostly rice and some beans and excessive tortilla shell. (Green and red salsas were fine and added needed flavor.) I didn’t realize sour cream was in my burrito until towards the end of one half, where there was a huge glob of it piled in one spot. As past cook myself, one of the biggest disappointments is, when cooks don’t pay attention to, or care how they build and present their food. Nobody wants to take a bite out of a burrito and be surprised with ONLY one ingredient, especially sour cream. Charging $18 for a burrito like that is outrageous. My partner’s burrito bowl was much the same. Very little meat and excessive amounts of rice.

Had such a nice date night with my hubby! We shared appetizers, enjoyed some drinks, and the $7 margarita specials were seriously so good, one had me feeling tipsy already The food was delicious, although they were out of quite a few items we wanted to try, so I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing. The service was great, and the location itself was super cute and cozy. We sat outside and really enjoyed the patio atmosphere. I’d definitely go back… especially for the fries because they were 10/10!
