Went to Lolita’s for the first time with friends and family (some had been before), and overall it was such a fun, memorable experience. The vibe is stunning; gorgeous chandeliers, murals, and that moody, low lighting that makes everything feel a little upscale and “night out” special. We ordered a bunch of apps to share along with a pitcher of margaritas; the Diablo was a standout! I loved the spice and the unique salt on the rim. My partner and I shared the street corn (he loved it) and the guacamole fresca, which was clearly made fresh and paired perfectly with the chips. For mains, I got the al pastor tacos and my partner had the steak tacos. Both were really delicious, but they only come as two tacos with no rice or sides. It definitely felt more like a tapas-style experience, though that wasn’t clearly explained. Our group naturally shared dishes, but I do wish that had been communicated better. They also bring out cotton candy at the end, which was such a fun and unexpected touch! The only downsides were the price (a bit expensive for the portion sizes), and the service could have been a little warmer and more informative; especially in explaining the concept of the menu. That said, I’d absolutely go back. The food, drinks, and atmosphere made it worth it!

We stopped at this Mexican restaurant in the Fort Point area of Boston, and honestly, I was blown away. I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants over the years, especially around Boston, and I can confidently say this was probably the best Mexican dining experience I have had in a very long time, if not ever. This place checks every single box. From the atmosphere alone, you can already tell it is different. You have the option of sitting inside with this modern, upscale Mexican vibe, or outside with beautiful waterfront views that completely elevate the experience. Now let’s talk about the service. Holy cow. This place deserves 10 stars out of 5. Francisco and Vladimir, our waiters, were absolutely phenomenal, and honestly, every single employee we interacted with was on point. The bartenders, the hostesses, everyone was attentive, welcoming, and professional. What makes this even more impressive is that the place was packed, yet the staff handled everything flawlessly. Then comes the food, and that is where everything comes together. The diversity of the menu, the creativity, the flavors, the presentation, everything was outstanding. Every dish felt thoughtful and elevated without losing authenticity or fun. My daughter actually introduced me to this place, and I have to say, this was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time, period. Will I be back? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? One hundred percent. This is the kind of place I would bring someone if I really wanted to impress them and guarantee they have a great time. Top notch all around.

Jamie was absolutely amazing and the drinks, food and atmosphere were unbelievable! The calamari was the best in Boston, we also had the shrimp and steak tacos which both blew our minds with how good they were. The pineapple tres leces cake was to die for. Oh, and the palette cleanser at the beginning and cotton candy at the end were both delicious and fun. Outstanding and a must visit when you’re in Boston.

The location and atmosphere is really what drives home this excellent trendy restaurant to the "it" spot. More leaning to the young "go go" type of urbanitesz the music and decor of Lolitas gives you an instant shot of adrenaline as you walk through its doors. The bar is directly in front beckoning you to join the throngs of beautiful people partying and having a great time. We were seated towards the front away from the bar but you won't be able to escape that infectious atmosphere...so not the best place if you're looking for a quiet evening meal or a business discussion. If, however, you're look for good authentic Mexican food choices (highly recommend any of their stores tacos and appetizers!) to combine with a high energy surrounding this is that place. Try the smokin grapefruit granita or the blackberry sangria or pretty much any of their margaritas...all with interesting tastes and prestentations.

Our waitress was very attentive and gave lots of recommendations. We had a party of seven with a large variety of food: tacos, quesadillas, wraps, appetizers, and desserts. Highly recommend the beef gordita. They were like taco sliders with a cornmeal tamale base. The table really liked the churros and pineapple Tres cake. And pitcher of Lolita‘s margaritas with coconut. The check was served with cotton candy.
