Went to iTZCALi Tapas & Tequila to celebrate my brother’s birthday and had a mixed experience overall. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Very authentic Mexican vibes with great decor and a really nice atmosphere. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making the place feel unique and welcoming. Food was decent, probably around a 7/10. We tried the chilaquiles and a burger, and both had good flavor, but nothing too memorable. The biggest downside was the service and wait time. There were only about three other tables occupied, yet it took quite a while for us to get attended to and receive our food. Customer service definitely has room for improvement. What really helped turn the experience around was that the staff acknowledged the delay and brought us complimentary churros, which we appreciated. That gesture definitely made a difference. Overall, it has a lot of potential because the restaurant itself is amazing, just hoping the service improves with time.

Tequila for days and an ambiance that has all the good vibes! Not to mention, the food is superb! We had appetizers such as the Dipping Trio - salsa, guacamole, and queso that knocked our socks off. Also, the Ceviche Fresco was perfectly done. Entrees ordered spanned from Baja Fish Tacos to Birria Ramen to Tuna Tartare and Sashimi Tacos. Everyone loved their meals, but the Birria Ramen was the hit. For a little something special, we ordered a few servings of the Marco’s Churros. It was the perfect sweet treat to wrap up a wonderful dinner. But wait… I didn’t mention the cocktails… everyone dabbled with something different but let me be the one to tell you that the Itzacali Paloma has a special place in my heart ❤️. Go make your tastebuds happy and check this spot out!

Been really wanting to try this place, made a reservation for last Saturday night. Arrived 5 minutes ahead and sat outside. Waitress said she was relatively new, but her service & demeanor were fantastic (her name was Becca, and she did a fantastic job!) Started with the Dipping Trio. The Guacamole was creamy, great flavor. The mild salsa and queso blanco were equally good, and the flavor was great! Main course, my wife had the Bruschetta, wow!!! Salmon, sliced Cherry tomatoes, cream cheese, avocado, micro greens and drizzled with Balsamic Vinaigrette! It was on a baguette. Unbelievably good, and it was big enough for her for her meal (it’s an appetizer on their menu). I had the Street Tacos with Carne Asada, refried beans and rice, and it was fantastic!!! No exaggeration here, it was the best Carne Asada I’ve ever had ( and I love street tacos, and eat them all over)! Beans and rice were really good as well. Dessert was the Tres Leches, and that was the topper to the meal!!! Unbelievably light, perfect taste, and the sponge cake was moist! This is NOT chain restaurant food, I would consider this more boutique style. Food has amazing flavor, service was great (and they were packed and we were sitting outside), staff that we encountered were friendly & courteous! We’re are definitely going back to get further into the Menu, and try something new!!!! If you’re on the fence, and you’re a Foodie, run, don’t walk!

I was told to come to this place during a work trip and I’m SO glad I did. Too bad it was on my last day:( I’m not from the area so driving into it was kinda sketchy but then again I was probably in my head. The location its self seemed safe and the parking lot had the proper lighting. I’m an explorer but also think of safety. Walking in the restaurant I was warmly greeted. Usually I tell restaurants I want to sit at the bar (quicker access to food and drinks) and told to go ahead, this was the first time I was actually walked to a seat at the bar. Definitely a team effort because Ashley was my primary waitress/bartender but two other people stepped in to take care of me. Thank you Ashley, it’s always good to feel welcomed when away from home. Anyhow, I loved everything about this place. Drinks were phenomenal, food was great (although not a fan of the enchiladas), I was dancing in my seat to so many songs , the ambiance was on point…. and the price was so fair! Definitely coming back if I’m in the area again.

Walking into this resturant felt like walking into the palace of Mexican royalty. The ambiance was superb! Food was great, too. The ceviche appetizer was particularly excellent. I got the salmon entree and it was tasty as well. The only lackluster part of the experience was the service. We got our drinks and appetizer right away, but it took a while before we were able to order our food. Maybe it was just a bad night? Anyway, would definitely give the place another try.
