This food is the best Mexican food I think I’ve ever had and I live in California and have been to Mexico. We came here twice during our vacation stay. We ordered the all the recommended plates - what’s popular, favorite food item, etc plus fish tacos, floutas , birria tacos. Outside seating for takeout.

We live on Oahu and stopped in on a whim while searching for authentic Mexican food — and this place absolutely delivered. The flavors were spot-on and felt genuinely authentic, which can be hard to find here. Parking is easy with both street parking and nearby public lots available. The restaurant sits toward the back of the square with plenty of seating. It’s not very visible from the road, but there’s a sign that makes it easy enough to find once you’re close.

This place was really really disappointing and in no way authentic Mexican. Nothing appeared to be made fresh and both the shrimp and baja fish tacos were soggy and overly salted. The tortillas were stale and tasted of freezer burn, they used Japanese tempura shrimp, and the salad looked like it just came from a lettuce packet. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews...I would recommend eating elsewhere.

Tucked into a corner of Eaton Square is a little gem of a Mexican food restaurant..called Tlacuaches 808. Find it and you will not be dissapointed..!! We found this place by accident..and we are so glad we did. Look if your like the 1 star whiner then fly to Mexico..!!! The food was great. Big portions. My wife's Chili Relleno was like 5 lbs..and Birria tacos..you can't eat it all. My Birria taco plate..4 " fat" meaty tacos. Nice spicy salsa..chips. Birria dipping sauce fantastic.. Lots of food for the money. We were just in San Diego and got 3 little " street" tacos for more than either of our meals. Great value here.. Highly recommend and we will be back.

No wait to order and meal was ready in 5 minutes. Tacos were fresh, hot and delicious! More food than expected. I had the birria tacos. I will be coming back!
