I stopped by Urban Cantina and had a really enjoyable time. The place has a fun and lively atmosphere, with a modern Mexican vibe that makes it great for both a casual meal and a night out. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, have a few drinks, and just enjoy the energy around you. The food was very good. Everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The tacos were a highlight, with well-seasoned fillings and good portion sizes. The menu has a nice variety, so it’s easy to mix and match and try different things. It’s not overly complicated, just solid, tasty food that hits the spot. The drinks were also worth mentioning. The margaritas were well made and balanced, not too sweet, and definitely added to the overall experience. It’s a great place to sit back and enjoy a drink or two. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff kept things moving smoothly and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Even when it got busy, they handled it well. If you’re in Tampa and looking for a relaxed spot with good food, drinks, and a great vibe, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

Busy, bright and buzzing. The drinks were not part of our plan but the food itself did not disappoint. If you don't mind being in a chatty and laid back place, it is pretty good. I feel the people at the bar counter were mainly the highlight for the servers but we were happy just sitting back enjoying the vibe and the food. 🏝️✨

My first time in Tampa and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. Both the vibes and food were great. The service was also impeccable. I will be returning! The happy hour drinks were tasty reasonable.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! It got slammed during Gasparilla due to bad weather when a ton of people ran inside (our group included) and they did SUCH a good job. Excellent service, kept their cool, great drinks and the fajitas were to die for! Highly recommend!

Came here with a large group of adults and kids and the service was fantastic. It’s not easy catering to a crowd. The food was standard Mexican 1 tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc but all were prepared well and yummy. The tacos were excellent - esp the mushroom tacos. The nachos were crispy and gooey from the loaded toppings. The plantains were soft and sweet. The churros were a hit. All the food was reasonably priced and came out quick. Def a good spot to go to for a casual get together
