I really enjoyed eating here! I came here for a birthday dinner with friends. The food and drinks were amazing! Our server Corey was the best. I got the Spicy Pineapple drink to start. It was tangy, sweet, and very strong. They gave us lots of chips and various sauces. One was a very spicy dip that burned so good and one was a Smokey dip, which was not my fav but other people in my table enjoyed it. I got so full on the complimentary chips and salsa that I only ordered the Black Bean Cream Soup and shared the Yellow Corn Esquites. Both dishes were delicious and very flavorful. We also got the churros which were the cherry on top of our night. Our server Corey was truly the best! He bought us the various salsa to dip our chips in. We had a great time with him conversing. If you’re in Tampa you have to come here and try the food. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

Food off the charts!!! Service was phenomenal!!! They go above and beyond for their guests! Eleni was such a sweet waitress and gave us the best service we have ever had! The guacamole was unbelievably fresh—hands down the best guacamole I’ve ever had. You can taste how fresh every ingredient is. Perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor! The queso with mushrooms was also so incredible we loved the crispy flavors! Everything about this restaurant was 5 stars!!! Highly recommend and we absolutely will make the 1 hour drive when we come back into town!

Lona was AMAZING! Walked in and the ambiance was so chill and inviting. Our server Theron was by far the best I've had at any restaurant in a while. He was very personable and attentive. The food... soooo good. I ordered the Enchilada Divorciadas. Let me tell you. Flavor out of this world! My bestie ordered the lobster quesadila and enjoyed them thoroughly. Drinks were also on point. Will definitely be going back.

Had the most incredible experience at Lona. Our server Gigi was absolutely amazing!! She made the experience so lovely and her recommendations were spot on. The guacamole with crabmeat was so flavorful and full of crab meat. For our main courses, I had the Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas and they were phenomenal. My fiance had the Carne Asada tacos and they were so, so good. For dessert we had the Abejas Pavlova and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Thank you so much Gigi and the whole Lona team!! Looking forward to our our next meal there!

Lona is easily one of the best new spots in Tampa! The vibe is upscale yet high-energy—perfect for a night out on Water Street. We started with the chips/ salsa, nacho and melted cheese, both were amazing. For the main, the veggie enchiladas and tacos were standout dishes. Plus, the 3-hour valet validation is a huge bonus for this area!
