I recently visited Jotoro Kitchen & Tequila Bar at Sparkman Wharf, and the overall experience was really enjoyable. The ambiance is definitely a highlight—beautifully decorated, right by the water, and surrounded by other restaurants and shops. It has that lively, tourist-friendly vibe, and you can tell it’s a popular spot. Drinks were flowing, and the energy of the place made it a fun environment to be in. Customer service was pretty good as well. The staff was attentive, and my waitress gave a helpful recommendation when I was deciding between the beef or shrimp tacos. I ended up ordering the beef tacos with rice and beans. The sides were good, but the tacos themselves were just okay. Honestly, I should’ve listened and gone with the shrimp—that might have made the experience even better. That said, I’d definitely come back. The atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and I’d be interested in trying more of the menu next time—especially the shrimp tacos. If you’re in the Sparkman Wharf area, it’s still a great spot to stop by, grab a drink, and enjoy the waterfront vibe.

The atmosphere and the location are awesome! Taco Tuesday is a great deal. But it's still too expensive and the food was just okay! I did love the chips and queso but everything else was average. The margarita was great and our server was really friendly. We may come back next time we're in the area, but mostly for the bar

This spot is IT! The food, location, staff, and all around experience were phenomenal! We went to the Florida Aquarium and then were looking to feed my three gurls and wife, we were walking to another restaurant when we saw this gem! Boy, we were happy we stopped. The Three Amigos Appetizer was amazing! Chips fresh and hot, guac on point, salsa was amazing, and the quest was delicious! We are from the burbs of Chicago and I work around some of the best restaurants for Mexican food in the area and their Birra Tacos were like being on 22nd St in Cicero or 26th st. in Chicago. If you want great service and food, stop in. The kids chicken tacos were out of this world!

Wow! 🤩 We had a really great time at Jotoro Kitchen & Taqueria Bar in Tampa. It’s a fun, relaxed spot with a welcoming vibe, and the food was genuinely very good. The tacos were excellent (and big) fresh, flavorful, and well made and the nachos were also a hit. Simple, tasty, and perfect for sharing. Everything felt easy and unpretentious, just good food done right. The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our server was friendly, attentive, and easygoing, always around when we needed something but never hovering. It made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxed. The restaurant is also very kid-friendly, both in terms of service and food. They have a kids’ menu and child friendly drink cups, which definitely makes things smoother when dining with kids. Jotoro is located inside Sparkman Wharf, which is a great bonus. The whole area is lively and fun, with several food and dessert options around. This time, the kids decided to skip dessert at Jotoro and try something sweet from another spot in the complex instead, which was easy and convenient. They also have a nice selection of cocktails. I’m not drinking alcohol at the moment 🤭, so I’ll save that for my next visit to Tampa:)) Overall, I really loved the vibe relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable. I’d definitely come back again when visiting Tampa.

Made a reservation on Open Table and we arrived almost an hour early. We were promptly seated and told our server, Colin, that we wanted to enjoy some cocktails before our meal. He provided the perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering. Food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommend the chicken fundito burrito, which is sliced in the pic because we shared it.
