I discovered this place last week. It was late one evening I got craving Mexican food. I saw online that this place was nearby. It was 10:00 pm in the evening. I pulled in the parking lot and it was packed. Even this late in the evening. I soon found out why. They have delicious authentic Mexican food. I had the enchiladas rancheros covered in green chile. It was so good. I have since been back a second time. I got the Colorado chili. Tender bites of meat in a wonderful red sauce. Of course dishes served with rice and refried beans. The restaurant is much larger inside than what it seems from the parking area. Colorful interior and decorated to the feel of Mexico. The restaurant was clean and service was fast. I would definitely recommend this place for any Mexican food you may want.

I recently visited Tacos El Amigo with a friend, and it was a great experience overall. The restaurant has a fun, welcoming vibe that makes it a nice spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. I ordered the birria tacos, which were flavorful and cooked perfectly, and my friend got the asada fries, which were loaded and really satisfying. We both enjoyed our food and left happy. I’d definitely recommend Tacos El Amigo to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food in a great atmosphere.

These were some damn good nachos. Unfortunately, I let them sit overnight before collecting my DoorDash order…100% my fault. However, this is not why the doxed star. Nacho cheese! Now I can’t lie, it worked. Mountainous pile of high quality toppings—generous guacamole, jalapeños, carnitas, the works. But man hitting a soggy (again my fault) goo rather than shredded cheese did confuse me. Still, to have enjoyed as much as I did a day late says a lot. Nachos from Tacos El Amigo get the stamp of approval.

The best chile relleno in teller county! I’m from LA and I know Mexican food and this is some of the best in Colorado. If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience in Woodland Park, give this place a try, you will not be sorry! This place will leave your soul happy! Go there now!!’ ❤️

The food here was the star of the show. It was one of the best burritos I've ever experienced. The meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh and it was a great size for the price. I highly recommend the steak burrito with red sauce. The addition of refried beans sent this one over the top. Service was acceptable and there are plenty of places to sit inside, should you choose to dine in or wait for your order. If you're thirsty, grab a soda or beer while you wait. This is a great place to eat!
